Deze Hamman-ervaring in Palais Amani, Fez, bestaat uit een warme kamer, een exfoliëringskamer, douches en een ontspanningsruimte om volledig van deze traditie te profiteren. Bij aankomst legt het receptieteam de hele procedure uit en leidt u naar de kaars bij kaarslicht naar de donkere, geurende, sensuele wereld van de hamam. De assistenten die voornamelijk Arabisch spreken en je zo onderdompelen in een authentieke Marokkaanse ervaring, laten je kennismaken met het ritueel van zuivering en zorgen ervoor dat je ontspannen blijft, zowel in lichaam als geest. Alle behandelingen worden vergezeld van een ontspannende zelfgemaakte verfrissing, gevolgd door een rustige tijd in de ontspanningsruimte. U kunt uzelf ook trakteren op een traditionele hamam met op maat gemaakt assortiment oliën die speciaal zijn aangepast aan verschillende huidtypes.

Locatie Naam : Palais Amani, Fez Locatie Adres : 12 Derb el Miter, Oued Zhoune, Fes Medina, 30000, Marokko Routebeschrijving : Wanneer u bij de parkeerplaats Oued Zhoune komt, zijn we letterlijk 50 meter verderop. U ziet een hostel genaamd Pension Dalila en een smalle doorgang tussen het Pension en een materiaalwinkel. Bovenaan deze trappen ga je linksaf, dan volg je de steeg nog meer treden omhoog en naar rechts. Palais Amani ligt aan de rechterkant. Als u niet zeker bent van de weg vanaf de parkeerplaats, geef ons dan een belletje en we kunnen iemand van het Palais sturen om u te begeleiden naar onze deur.

An amazing hamam & massage experience which left us feeling relaxed & rejuvenated! All staff were professional, friendly & attentive. Upon arrival we received Moroccan mint tea and cakes which was a lovely touch. The lady at reception explained clearly the whole procedure of our package. The hamam experience was great & including a variety of natural scrubs & masks that were applied to our body from head to toe leaving our skin feeling cleansed and rejuvenated. We also received orange juice and water to keep hydrated during our hamam session which we appreciated, keeping us hydrated. The full body massage was very relaxing, I chose the beautiful scented orange blossom argan oil to be applied during the massage which left my skin glowing and fragrant all day. The ladies who did the hamam scrub and massage were lovely, they took care of us and explained each step making us feel at ease. All facilities were very clean and beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan design. Overall our experience was exceptional and would definitely recommend and would return again.

Experience below expectations due to poor attention to detail (unsuitable slippers, bedroom adapted to dressing room, shower not spotless). Operators however very kind and competent. Far from the standards of a luxury spa anyway
an Hamman is always a magical experience. Putting yourself in the hands of a stranger who guides you through various cleansing rituals is a lesson in surrendering relaxation. This was no different. The women who attended us had very limited english yet communicated clearly what was next and the actual scrub left me feeling bright and renewed. The location was very difficult to find as GPS does not work so well in the Fes medina and the number of tiny allyways you must navigate to get there frightened my husband which did limit the overall experience. Once you arrive it's opulant and uxorious but if you get nervous in the maze like medina you might want to find a Hamman less off the beaten track
It is a lovely place and amazing staff, the process is very nice too… but I sadly got 2 injuries, one of which didn’t heal for a month, on my left foot while traveling, which did negatively affect my experience... the other one was on my left elbow. This was due to a hard scrubbing done with a hard ceramic tool by the staff. They were incredibly nice, but better training is needed. If not for that, I’d fully recommend it.
Complete, relaxing, enjoyable hammam and massage experience. A complete ritual of physical rejuvenation and spiritual restart.
If you've never been to a hammam, don't miss it. This one is, allegedly, the best in town. I certainly enjoyed it. It's about 45 minutes and will leave you thoroughly relaxed and pampered, your skin buttery smooth. We coupled our hammams with 45-minute massages. I found mine to be pleasant but not exceptional. (My partner really enjoyed his, though.)
