Tijdens onze Secret Food Tours Hamburg volg je je Expert Food Gids terwijl je je een weg eet door de grootste haven van Noord-Europa, waar geschiedenis, cultuur en keuken samenkomen in een van Europa's meest fascinerende havensteden. Van het iconische pakhuisdistrict met rode bakstenen tot de kronkelende grachten van de oude stad, we verkennen de eettradities en minder bekende hoekjes van Hamburg, inclusief een stop in de levendige Portugese wijk van de stad. Onderweg proeft u iconische gerechten die u niet mag missen: versgebrande koffie in de koffiehoofdstad van Europa, traditionele zeemansgerechten die met Schnaps worden weggespoeld in een van de oudste en beroemdste maritieme restaurants van Hamburg, een schilferige Portugese vlastaart, vishapjes aan de haven, historische snoepwinkels, streetfood en meer! U begint bij de ingang van Hamburg Centraal Station Wandelhalle, 20099 Hamburg, Duitsland, dit staat ook bekend als de Spitalerstrasse ingang. Onze gids zal een oranje paraplu en een enorme glimlach hebben.
Uw gids begroet u en laat u kennismaken met uw culinaire avontuur in Hamburg.
De reis van een Hamburger begint met een Frantzbrötchen - Een kaneelgebak gebakken met een grote keuze aan ingrediënten van chocolade, tot marsepein en niet te vergeten de oh zo Duitse Kirsch kers. Terwijl u geniet van uw Franztbrötchen leert u het verhaal van deze delicatesse samen met het verhaal van het station
We maken onze eerste stop bij een restaurant waar u ons heerlijke Secret Dish zult ervaren, vergezeld van een biertje of een frisdrank.
Op weg naar het stadhuis nemen we een Hamburger mee om ervan te genieten met uitzicht op het Binnenalstermeer en de beroemde Alsterfontein.
We lopen dan langs veel van de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden van het centrum van Hamburg, het stadhuis en de grachten.
Wandelend langs de iconische ruïnes van deze kerk, gebombardeerd door geallieerde troepen tijdens Operatie Gomorra in 1943, biedt een lift u een uitzicht over de stad.
Na het varen worden de kanaalstraten beloond met een visnugget en zijn remouladesaus. Nu is het tijd voor vers gebrouwen ristretto of expresso (enkel of dubbel) vergezeld van het lokale koekje brengt u warmte en energie voor de rest van onze reis.
Beginnend met een snoepje en eindigend met een snoepje, maken we de cirkel rond met een grote klassieker, het smakelijke RoteGrutz dessert, rode bessengelei geserveerd op een room met vanillesmaak of rijstpudding

Such a fun tour. We got to walk through the city and see landmarks, learn about the history all while tasting delicious local foods. They were also very accommodating when notifying in advance of our dietary needs. The vegetarian meal was the best I had in Germany. They also were able to accommodate and provide an alternative meal for husband’s shellfish allergy. Highly recommend the tour. Amber was an awesome tour guide, such enthusiasm, knowledge. Personable and anecdotes really brought Hamburg to life. A+ tour—- highly recommend.

We enjoyed the in the food and sites of Hamburg. The guide knowledgeable and helpful. The cost was a little higher than another tour we took, but there was more food and alcohol included. The tour ran about three hours . It started in the Harbor area and then finished at the town hall. Very hot day but the guide kept us in the shade.
