Geniet van gratis reizen met het openbaar vervoer met uw kaart (Hamburg AB-gebied van de Hamburger Verkehrsverbund, ook van en naar de luchthaven) en ontvang ook gereduceerde toegang tot 50% tot meer dan 150 attracties en tours, zoals B. bij het gemeentehuis, de Miniatur Wunderland, de Michel evenals verschillende havenrondvaarten en de ATG Alster-cruise op de Outer Alster. U kunt ook profiteren van grote kortingen op rondleidingen door de stad, rondleidingen, musea en tentoonstellingen, maar ook op theaters en musicals. In de regel bespaart u al geld na gebruik van één voordeel per dag! Het ticket is de hele dag geldig van 00:00 uur 's ochtends tot 06:00 uur 's ochtends van de volgende dag. One should already consider in advance whether one really needs the ticket; we received a 10 percent discount on the musical, so it was worth it, however, they did not check at the entrance whether one even had the ticket. The organization of this ticket is really tedious; the app did not work, so we wanted to get the ticket at the airport to use it right away to take public transport to the hotel. The information booth was closed in the middle of the afternoon, however, you can no longer buy it there either. At the airport, you have to go to the hvv terminals and purchase the tickets there: however, they only have day tickets, and we would have needed 4 days, so it would have been more expensive. And now comes the best part: at these terminals, you can only pay with a prepaid card or with small bills in cash; our machine only accepted $10 bills. We had two $100 bills in cash, a credit card, and a debit card, and we could not purchase a ticket, and we were not the only ones who experienced this; I have really never encountered anything like this before. Yesterday, we had the same issue again with $5 and $10 bills!! We are still here for 2 more days and are now forgoing it!
I wouldn't go back, nice, but unfortunately people would stop in the middle for a long time and you couldn't get through, in my opinion it should be a little more smooth
For me, this card was completely pointless. Some were either closed or connected with such a time ticket, which unfortunately was no longer bookable at that time. In addition, you should click on the website of the attractions to find out what the entrance etc. costs. It would be better to know in the card how much it would cost. Visited only a few attractions for 2 days and thus saved only about 5 €. My tip, first check prices then buy HamburgCard.

Using all transport systems plus loads of discounts in many places! A must when visiting Hamburg so, I bought it online and for the days I spent there!
Good discounts, also additionally bookable with hvv public transport card. With Harbour Love Update, free visit to the museum ship and free 1-hour harbour tour included. Worth it!
This is worth investing in if you'll be doing a few tourist type visits to various places in Hamburg. Don't buy it if you're only using it for travel, it's cheaper to invest in an all day travel ticket.

The counter at Hamburg Airport was closed at 10am on Saturday. We were unable to order the Hamburg Card in the app beforehand.

Beautiful town, lots of nice big shops and good restaurants. Culture is of paramount importance to Hamburg. The recently opened shopping centre near the harbour is worth a visit in itself. With canal boats you can explore the whole area.
Feed compounds to get in somewhere without thinking. Unfortunately without discount at Hagenbeck Zoo, very disappointing.

Super unfortunate that you only after spending money on buying a Hamburg Card get to know that you have to print the ticket in paper (Stone Age Germany) and that they do not accept mobile tickets. A little hard when you're on vacation. It's probably the few that have brought a printer
