Bezoek de badplaats Cassis tijdens deze reis van een halve dag vanuit Aix-en-Provence! Cassis, een van de schilderachtige pareltjes aan de Franse Middellandse Zee, is de perfecte plek om de charme van een Provençaals vissersdorpje uit de eerste hand te ervaren. Nadat je de haven hebt verkend, kun je hier zo weinig of zo veel doen als je wilt! Misschien stapt u aan boord van een rondvaartboot om de beroemde Cassis-calanques te bekijken, of bezoekt u de sfeervolle cafés en winkels van het dorp. Geniet op woensdag en vrijdag van de lokale markt. Greg was an excellent guide, he shared about the history of the region and his conviviality made the trip really enjoyable. There was sufficient time for me to take a picturesque boat ride and to explore the marché at Cassis. Merci Greg pour l'expérience inoubliable !

This was a lovely half day tour. Simple but nice. We had Marian for our tour guide and she was as lovely. It’s about an hour to Cassis from Aix with one stop that gives you stunning views from a cliff overlooking this little coastal town. When you get to Cassis you can get tix for a really beautiful boat ride in and around the nearby islands (that’s what we did) or just eat and shop in town. Very chill and relaxed.

I spent a couple of days in Cassis; the village is charming, originally a small fishing village, and it still has various boats going out to fish, and there is also a small fish market by the harbor. The location is famous for its calanques, which deserve a separate discussion, as well as the route des crêtes. It can happen, as it did to me, to encounter the soldiers of the famous foreign legion since one of their commands is not far from Aubagne, and it is very nice to meet them if you are in the area; it is worth it.

Ha colto perfettamente l'anima del nostro borgo: un villaggio che ha saputo preservare la sua tradizione marinara pur accogliendo i visitatori. Il mercato del pesce sul porto è effettivamente un momento autentico da non perdere. Le calanques e la route des Crêtes sono tesori che meritano davvero una visita approfondita — siamo felici che ne abbia avuto un assaggio! E che bella sorpresa l'incontro con i legionari! La presenza della Légion Étrangère ad Aubagne è parte integrante dell'identità di questa regione. Speriamo di rivederla presto da queste parti! Team A La Française.

An easy way to have a « taste » of the ocean and a historic - no- iconic location! Hassle free too and from - a great way to spend a morning Our guide/driver ( Celestine) was personable and so very cheerful… See something amazing and leave the driving to someone else

Absolutely worth the visit to Cassis. Incredible scenery and quaint town. Note the meeting point is the Office de Tourisme. The address given caused some confusion for participants.
