Ik zal je vergezellen om de plekken van mijn jeugd te ontdekken. Mijn vader is een gids, dus ik ben opgegroeid met spelen op de plekken die ik toeristen vandaag de dag probeer te waarderen. Ik laat je de geschiedenis, kunst, gewoonten en typische Siciliaanse gerechten ontdekken met de ogen van een lokale inwoner, de perfecte mix om een van de belangrijkste mediterrane steden in de Griekse periode en daarna te waarderen. Daarnaast kunnen we de markttour toevoegen om een aantal van de lekkerste Siciliaanse lokale gerechten te proeven.

We zullen samen de wonderen van het Archeologisch Park van Syracuse ontdekken, een bezoek brengen aan het grootste Griekse Theater van Sicilië, de steengroeven met de beroemde Dionisyu-grot, het offeraltaar van Hieron II en een prachtig Romeins amfitheater.
We bezoeken de oudste tempel van Sicilië, de verbazingwekkende kathedraal die uniek is vanwege de verschillende stijlen die met elkaar zijn gemengd, en de simbol van Ortigia, de zoetwaterbron van Aretusa!

Wonderful tour. Letizia was very nice and very knowledgeable. Our Archaeological park tour was just my wife and I so that one on one experience with her was nice. Joined up with 4 others for Ortigia tour which was also enjoyable and informative. Would definitely recommend her to others considering those tours.
This was such a cool and incredible experience! Letizia was hands on a wealth of information on the Greek culture in Siracusa! If you are a history buff highly recommend well worth the price !
The afternoon was well organized and enjoyable. It is helpful to be with someone like Letizia who is not only a real professional, but knows everyone working at the sites. We hat benefitted us very specifically in a church we would not have been able to get into otherwise as there was a wedding in process. Thanks to Letizia, we were able to peak in and see important historical design features.

Letizia was one of the best tour guides we have ever had. She provided outstanding education and personalised stories of the history of Siracusa and Ortigia. Over and above that, she talked knowledgeably of local plants, foods, social and cultural traditions. She spoke clearly and at exactly the right level to get her information across. We had a wonderful half day tour with Letizia. She is one of the best tour guides we have ever had. She is extremely fluent in English and provided so much interesting information about the history, culture, and cuisine of Siracusa in an easy to understand and coherent manner. We would highly recommend taking this tour with her early in one’s visit to this city.
We had a lovely small group tour. There were 3 couples on this day. Lucky us, we were there on a free admission date, so a bit crowded, but its a large area, so plenty of space. Our guide Letezia is very good at sharing all the history of Syracuse and made the trip memorable. Lots of walking. Spent time exploring the ancient city and then took a cab to Ortigia where we were introduced to the beauty and the history of this section of Syracuse as well. We received local recommendations and could plan the rest of our stay with the tips Letezia provided. Great way to start a visit.
Léticia , who speaks French very well , summed up in just a few hours the magnificent history of Syracuse that one imagines when visiting the archaeological site. The short visit to Ortegia gives us the taste to stay there.
The day before the trip Letizia changed the venue because it suited her better. We cancelled and are awaiting the refund.
The person in question never took my tour; he decided to cancel at the last minute, despite my thoughtfulness in sending him the link to buy the Archeological park tickets online and skip the line. He's never done any of my experiences, so I can't understand his one-star review. All my clients are very satisfied with my hospitality and professionalism. My tours don't have a fixed schedule and can be done either in the morning or afternoon. So it's not my fault he decided to cancel, but I don't think it's very kind to leave a one-star rating if he didn't take my tour. Anyway, I'll wait for you next time to change your mind.
