7 Wells is een van de watervallen in Matchinchang aan de voet van deze kabelbaan en luchtbrug Cambrian UNESCO Geo forest mountain Dit tropisch regenwoud sommige bomen groeien rond de 60 meter hoog en gevuld met biodiversiteit met flora en fauna op elke laag van het bladerdak. Deze waterval heeft twee plekken, een aan de onderkant en een aan de bovenkant. Op de top zijn er natuurlijke poelen die gedurende een lange periode door water worden uitgehouwen, het uitzicht vanaf de top is de oceaan en de kabelbaan is spectaculair. Het Blue-zwembad is een van de verborgen juweeltjes in het hart van deze jungle en de temperatuur van het zwembadwater is zo delicaat en verfrissend en het biedt een pure rust, een rijke bron van mineralen rechtstreeks uit de berg.

De 7 putten is een van de watervallen op de noordwestelijke Langkawi-eilanden aan de voet van het Matchinchang Cambrian UNESCO Geo-bos. Dit regenwoud veroudert ergens een paar honderd jaar oud bladerdak en het is een thuis voor dieren in het wild, zoals vogels, apen, insecten, slangen, civetkatten, muizenherten, het waterleven, waar de nationale geografie de vliegende 5 dieren had gedocumenteerd, zoals colugo, vliegende eekhoorn, vliegende vos, vliegende hagedissen en de paradijselijke vliegende slangen. Met zo'n diverse tropische regenwoudplant maakt het een plek zo speciaal voor natuurliefhebbers. De Seven Wells heeft twee plekken waar we kunnen zwemmen op de bodem waar we getuige kunnen zijn van deze prachtige waterval. Op de top zijn er verschillende poelen die in de loop van de tijd door het water zijn uitgehouwen en waar de lokale bevolking gelooft dat feeën een bad komen nemen. Het uitzicht vanaf de top waar we de kabelbaan bovenop de Machinchang-pieken kunnen zien en het uitzicht op de oceaan. Deze jacuzzi is gevuld met natuurlijke bronnen en het water is zo schoon, fris en de temperatuur is gekoeld.
Ontmoetingspunt is in de coffeeshop naast de parkeerplaats van de 7 putten, Meet and greet by nature gids en veiligheidsbriefing zal worden gegeven Ten eerste zullen we ongeveer 40 minuten wandelen naar het blauwe zwembad en commentaar geven met betrekking tot sommige planten en dieren die we misschien onderweg zien, tijdens bij het blauwe zwembad waar we kunnen zwemmen of voeten kunnen onderdompelen, daarna gaan we wandelen naar de top van zeven bronnen waar we hier kunnen blijven zwemmen in deze natuurlijke zwembaden of gewoon kunnen ontspannen, foto's kunnen maken en video's of gewoon zonnebaden. Vervolgens gaan we naar de bodem van de zeven putten om foto's en video's te maken, naast de plaatselijke winkel op het parkeerterrein en er zal een gratis drankje zijn, ofwel koffie of verse gekoelde kokosnoot.

I had a lovely tour guide Yun, she was very passionate and knowledgeable. The scenery was lovely. This is a physical activity while it’s a fairly easy walk there is a lot of steps.
VERY disappointing as we were NOT informed of the 640 STEPS and then there is a rain forest trek to get to the top. It absolutely poured with rain and lightning & thunder about 1/3 of the way up. We should have turned back. This made the rocks very slippery and a few crossings a bit scary to cross. We were informed there was water, tea/coffee available NOT. We did make it to the top and back. Note to self: ALWAYS DO your homework before booking any tours.
Azri is passionate about the jungle environment and makes it an interesting experience. He is also kind and made sure the pace was not too fast as there are many steps and it is hot. Highly recommended.

Fantastic afternoon with Azri. We had to make some adjustments for his schedule, and it all worked out really well. The trek up the hill through the jungle was thoroughly enjoyable, as well as the dip in the pool at the bottom waterfall. I enjoyed the small wild life sightings, as well as the monkeys at the end of it all. A good way to spend a few hours. Cheers all.

I think it’s the type of tour you can manage on your own but with the guided tour it was nice to know more about Langkawi and the falls.

I booked and prepaid a private tour with a confirmed hotel pickup. An hour before the trip, my guide said she would not be picking us up at our hotel (“can’t you just take a Grab?”). I told her I had written confirmation that we had a pickup included, and I also messaged the tour operator at this point. I did not hear back from the operator, but a taxi was sent to pick us up from the hotel. When we arrived at the destination the tour guide was nowhere to be found. Luckily our taxi driver let us wait in the AC car while she tried to track down the guide. It took about 20 minutes. At the end of the tour the guide claimed her phone wasn’t working, told us to call the driver to fetch us, then she took off and left us. It took 35 minutes to eventually get picked up during which time we weren’t sure if anyone was actually coming to get us. Our guide did a nice job informing us of a few things about the flora and fauna (maybe 10-15 minutes of information during the 3 hour hike), but I would have enjoyed some more friendliness or conversation. It was impersonal and a lot of walking up and down endless stairs in high heat. She was attentive to ask frequently if we required water or rest. I enjoyed the fresh coconut water at the end and enjoyed swimming in the waterfall pools.

Approximately 600 stair steps to a landing. Then approximately 40 minutes uphill jungle walk to the blue pool. The waterfall is about 1/3 the way up. Waterfall was nice.

A wonderful hike with few people and lots to explore. Azri is without question the one you want to guide you along. A great conversationalist along with expert commentary will make your experience a memorable one. Azri was able to spot wildlife and I could not even begin to see. I enjoyed myself immensely and made a new friend in the process. I had a great time.

We had a fabulous half day with Azri who picked us up from the cruise terminal. He is knowledge and super friendly. He even dropped us off at the beach afterwards. The walk up to the waterfall and pools is 540 steps so not too bad just take your time. And lovely to jump in up top was not too cold at all I thought.
Our guide Joey made our trek an enjoyable and memorable experience despite less than ideal weather. His wealth of knowledge about the local flora and fauna was impressive and we were kept engaged throughout the trek. Would recommend to anyone.
