Beschrijving
Als je weinig tijd hebt, dan is dit de tour voor jou. We nemen je mee naar twee bezienswaardigheden van Rio: de Christus de Verlosser en de Selarón-trappen. Beginnend met het ophalen van het hotel, nemen we je per minibus mee naar de top van de Corcovado-berg, om de Christus de Verlosser te zien. We nemen een prachtige en unieke route door Tijuca Forest, een van de grootste stedelijke bossen ter wereld. Als je de top bereikt, heb je een panoramisch uitzicht over Rio de Janeiro, perfect voor foto's. Daarna gaan we naar Santa Teresa, de beroemde wijk die bekend staat om de smalle geplaveide straatjes en zijn rijke historische achtergrond. Deze route brengt ons naar Lapa, beroemd om het nachtleven en het Carioca Aquaduct. We bereiken de felgekleurde wereldberoemde Selarón-trappen, een van de meest kenmerkende bezienswaardigheden van Rio. We bieden deze tour twee keer per dag aan: in de ochtend of in de middag.

Geniet van de rit van 20 minuten door het Tijuca-bos om de Christus de Verlosser te bereiken. Het Tijuca-bos is het grootste stadsbos ter wereld.
Per minibus zien we de Christus de Verlosser, een van de nieuwe zeven wereldwonderen. Je moet op de foto poseren met de armen wijd open, net als het standbeeld.
De Boheemse wijk Santa Teresa staat bekend om de smalle straatjes met kleine winkeltjes en restaurants.
De wijk Lapa staat bekend om het intense nachtleven in de weekenden. Mensen drinken en dansen in de pubs en bars in de omgeving.
Het oude Aquaduct doet nu dienst als brug voor een populaire tram die het stadscentrum verbindt met de wijk Santa Teresa.
Neem de tijd om de beroemde kleurrijke tegels van de Selarón-trap te bewonderen. Vind de beste plek voor een foto.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Ophalen is mogelijk bij geselecteerde hotels in Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana, Flamengo en Centro. Neem 24 uur voor vertrek contact met ons op om de locatie van het hotel te informeren en de ophaaltijd te bevestigen. Als u geen contact met ons opneemt, ontmoeten we u op Avenida Atlântica, 3264 - Copacabana. Ochtend: ophalen tussen 07:45 en 08:30 uur. Middag: ophalen tussen 12:45 en 13:30 uur.

Our tour guide Fernando was amazing! He was so kind to me and my family. He made sure we got to the location safe and sound and was great with answering questions and keeping us informed about Rio. He made sure we go the best views at Christ the redeemer and the steps and took great photos of us that he shared with us. He also assisted us in translation when needed when we were purchasing goods from the markets. It was a great time and we enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely book him again. Please book if you’re looking for a great time!
The tour leader was confused about what the tour included. He thought we had to purchase tickets for Christ the redeemer when we already paid and it was included. He said we were taking the train up the mountain and when we arrived there he said it was changed and now we were taking a car and then a van. Really unprepared.
Marlady was our tour guide and Gege was our driver. They were both so great. Marlady made it so much fun. She is also very caring. One of the people got sick and she was attending to her like a mom would. Great experience!
Wonderful tour of Christ the Redeemer and the Selarón Steps and would definitely recommend! Wagner was a kind and wonderful guide. He was also super knowledgeable and made every step of the tour easy! He even walked us through Santa Teresa where we learned more about the area and got to go through the shops and cafes. Timing wise - although the tour time we selected was 8:30am, we chose to be picked up from our hotel where it was communicated that we would be picked up at 8:00am the day before our tour. This ended up being perfect as we got to the locations ahead of other tourists often beating lines and larger crowds. Wagner was very prompt in picking us up at our hotel even arriving 10 minutes earlier. Additionally, not sure if they attend to larger groups, but it ended up being a tour with just my dad and I which was an added bonus and worth the price. Overall the total time we spent on the tour from pickup was 4 hours and we traveled around in an air conditioned car and van (to go up to Christ the Redeemer). Thank you so much Wagner for making our first time in Rio a wonderful time! We can’t wait to come back again!

This tour fit perfectly in the only time we had available. Although the afternoon tour was not perfect for photos at some angles due to the sun, there were very few people there at that time which meant no wait times. Our guide did a great job. I especially liked that it was easy to communicate with the tour and our guide using whatsApp.

Very interesting and informative tour hosted by Monica. Took weather conditions into account to change the order of the day, so we managed to be on Christ The Redeemer during the only sunny part of the day. Narrates simultaneously in multiple languages and excellent at English. Highly recommended

Given a choice of 3 hotels close by and their distance for pick up when my hotel was not one of the pick up sites. Monica the guide was an excellent photographer and very knowledgeable. Enough time was spent at each site. There was an opportunity to buy souvenirs too.
