Halve dag snorkelexcursie op Tahiti

De dag begint met het observeren van dolfijnen met lange snuiten, die boven de golven dansen en pirouetteren in een fascinerend luchtballet. We vervolgen onze tocht met een eerste snorkelstop bij het Aquarium, een betoverende onderwaterwereld waar vliegtuig- en scheepswrakken in stilte rusten, omringd door scholen tropische vissen. Een bureau en een groot koraalhart voegen een magisch tintje toe aan deze sprookjesachtige omgeving. Vervolgens gaan we de oceaan op om een spectaculaire plek te verkennen, waar onderwater zoetwaterbronnen ontspringen en een kleurrijke koraaltuin bloeit. Je krijgt de kans om te zwemmen naast zeeschildpadden en ze van dichtbij te bewonderen in hun natuurlijke leefomgeving. Deze ontmoeting is echter afhankelijk van de aanwezigheid van de dieren en kan niet bij elke excursie worden gegarandeerd. Geniet bij onze laatste stop van een schotel met lokaal fruit en verfrissende drankjes, voor een culinaire pauze in het hart van de lagune.

Gelieve 15 minuten voor vertrek aanwezig te zijn in de jachthaven van Papeete. Zoek op Google Maps naar "Tahiti per boot" en ga naar de grote groene poort, waar de kapitein je zal verwelkomen.
De dag begint met het observeren van langsnuitdolfijnen. Ze maken fascinerende sprongen en pirouettes boven de golven. Een magisch moment om deze ongelooflijke wezens in hun natuurlijke leefomgeving te ontdekken. Deze bijeenkomst blijft echter onder voorbehoud van de aanwezigheid van dieren en kan niet voor elk uitje gegarandeerd worden.
We vervolgen onze tocht met een eerste snorkelstop bij het Aquarium, een betoverende onderwaterwereld waar vliegtuig- en scheepswrakken in stilte rusten, omringd door scholen tropische vissen.
De laatste snorkelstop is in Sapinus Bay, bij Fisherman's Point, waar je kunt zwemmen tussen schildpadden en de talloze tropische vissen kunt bewonderen in een onderwaterwereld die wemelt van het leven.
De snorkelstops kunnen variëren afhankelijk van de weersomstandigheden, maar je bent gegarandeerd van minstens twee snorkelsessies tijdens de reis.

What a wonderful way to spend a morning Crystal clear water at 28 degrees Celsius And we saw everything promised dolphins sharks turtles fish everywhere it was amazing Our host and his son had a beautifully maintained very comfortable boat with canopy and were so friendly and helpful and so knowledgeable about the lagoon and beyond I cannot recommend this tour more strongly It was epic

Very relaxing excursion. The meeting point is easy to find. Our tour guide Joanne was nice and did not rush anything. The snorkeling was great and we saw a lot of fish . It is a great 4 hour tour .

We had the best time. Easy transfer from the pontoon next to our hotel. We got to swim with dolphins and turtles,what a gift, and just the most bespoke tour we could wish for. Very laid back but interesting and well run. Wonderful dolphin sightings, and two good snorkel sites with turtles and white tipped sharks, in warm, clear waters.

Overall it was smooth and I enjoyed. Advise down below. 1. Need a bottle of water not from big Jar!( holding a cup is uncomfortable in boat.) 2. I am usually not sensitive but It was not funny joke about Turtle soup(per captain name James). Do not assume every asian will be Chinese or eating Turtle soup! I am from San Francisco and I am a vegetarian. Otherwise I would give five stars.

The snorkeling was great - 2 sites. Lots of turtles at the reef, fish and coral. It is deep water. Would be a great dive location. Our pontoon boat was overcrowded 13 people with a maximum capacity of 12 per boat regulation. No safety information was provided(until I asked), no boat radio if needed. No room on boat to get yourself ready. They did provide all snorkel equipment and you must wear a life jacket! Fresh pineapple, bananas & grapefruit was provided along with glasses of water, juice or beer. Cost of excursion was expensive for what was provided. It took 45 minutes each way to the snorkeling site from the pier. My suggestion would be to limit it to 8 people.

Super fun snorkeling experience with a great crew! Sham was knowledgeable and a lot of fun! We went to a couple of different snorkel stops and had a great time! Would recommend this excursion!

Overall, the snorkeling was good and the guide was great. I would recommend this company, but read my last comment. The “picnic” was tuna ceviche, which my husband thought quite good. I contacted the company ahead of time to tell them that I did not eat seafood, and despite the company saying in their information that dietary restrictions should be given to them, nothing was substituted and I was left with pineapple only.

Fun half day, friendly and helpful staff and incredible views. Went to 3 different locations from the southern part of the island to the seaport. Lunch was great! They even dropped us off at our hotel on the way home. Tell the taxi driver to drop you off at "Burger King near the taxi stand" and walk across the street.
