We zijn er trots op het kleinste fietstourbedrijf van Amsterdam te zijn! Het aantal deelnemers per groep is beperkt en we garanderen u dat u zich in een groep van maximaal 12 personen bevindt. Dit zorgt voor een leuke, veilige en hoogwaardige fietstocht. Onze landelijke fietstocht (totale afstand: 30 km / 18 mijl) is een geweldige vakantie weg van de stad. Tijdens deze ontspannen fietstocht leert u over de Nederlandse geschiedenis en onze voortdurende strijd tegen het water. De prachtige landschappen liggen onder de zeespiegel die je met je eigen ogen kunt zien terwijl je met je fiets over de dijken rijdt die onze voeten droog houden. We passeren pittoreske boeren- en vissersdorpen en zien de big five van Holland op deze Nederlandse safari. (koeien, koeien, koeien, koeien, koeien);) Halverwege de tour genieten we van een ontspannen pauze om 's werelds beste stuk appeltaart in het pittoreske dorpje Holysloot te hydrateren en te proeven. Dit is de perfecte brandstof om ons op de been te houden en naar onze favoriete windmolen in de regio te gaan: een monument uit 1792!

Deze tour vindt plaats in de regio Waterland, ten noorden van Amsterdam. Spring op en fiets met je door dit prachtige gebied van de typische polderlandschappen en landerijen onder de zeespiegel.
Rijd met je fiets door oude vissersdorpjes en leer over waterbeheer en hoe Nederlanders onder zeeniveau kunnen leven.
We zijn halverwege de tour als we aankomen in Holysloot, een klein boerendorpje midden op het platteland. Tijd voor een pauze in het liefdesrestaurant 'het Schoolhuis', in de voormalige school van het dorp. De hier geserveerd appeltaart is wereldberoemd in de omgeving en geweldige brandstof voor de rest van onze tour!
Je leert over de interessante geschiedenis van de 80-jarige oorlog tussen Nederland en Spanje en ziet de toren van Ransdorp, het oudste gebouw in de omgeving.
Wat zou een plattelandsreis in Nederland zijn zonder een windmolen te zien? Inderdaad! Aan het einde van onze tour passeer je deze prachtige windmolen uit 1792 en leer je over de oude molenindustrie van Holland.

We had a great tour of the countryside with our guide Jessie, he was very knowledgeable and friendly! Really happy we were able to book this tour quite last minute and they weren’t lying about the best apple pie ever 🙂 Was also nice to have a small group rather than a large tour!
Lovely day in the country, so nice to get out of the city. Nice and flat ride and quality bikes; the stop for apple pie was very nice and the pie amazing. The seats were not for the faint of heart if you have bike shorts
We are returning customers and we can't go to Amsterdam without booking this trip. This is our favorite tour in Amsterdam because of the scenery, the wildlife, and the tour guide Willy. We were fortunate enough to see a Godwit and a Harrier on our trip. We also love the world's best Appeltaart!

We had a fantastic time on the countryside bike tour today! Our guide, Villiam, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience really enjoyable. I especially loved that we spent much more time actually riding compared to the city tour we did yesterday, allowing us to really soak up the beautiful countryside scenery. It was wonderful to experience Amsterdam from a completely different perspective and to learn more about the country’s fascinating waterways and how they shape everyday life. A relaxing, scenic ride with plenty of interesting insights, highly recommended!

A perfect family ride with kids 7-15! Ben was friendly, kind and perfectly tailored the ride to the abilities of all the kids. Registration and check-in were a breeze and Ben navigated us quickly out of the hustle and bustle of the city into the beautiful neighboring countryside and villages, providing history and explanation along the way. Overall a great experience! Highly recommend to any family visiting Amsterdam!
