Dit is een wandeltocht die u inzicht geeft in de levensstijl, cultuur, traditie en religies van Maleisiërs. Met deze tocht zult u de 3 belangrijkste rassen begrijpen, namelijk de Maleisische, Chinese en Indiase cultuur en religie. Onze gids is een erkende gids die goed is opgeleid om professioneel commentaar te geven, zodat u de bezochte plaatsen begrijpt. Hij zal ervoor zorgen dat u een goede tocht zult hebben met een gerust hart met ons bedrijfsbeleid dat is om toeristen naar de winkels en eetplekken van de lokale bevolking te brengen. Jamek betekent de samenkomst van mensen om te aanbidden in de moskee, vandaar de naam. Een van de oudste moskeeën in Kuala Lumpur en is ontworpen door AB Hubbock.
Zeer panoramisch vol met historische locaties met het majestueuze Sultan Abdul Samad gebouw, het Onafhankelijkheidsplein (Dataran Merdeka), het textielmuseum, het KL-icoon met de hoogste vlaggenmast van Maleisië. De onafhankelijkheidsdag werd hier uitgeroepen op 31 augustus 1957.
Hier kunt u een goede foto maken van waar de naam Kuala Lumpur vandaan komt.
Pasar Seni of ook wel bekend als de Centrale Markt was vroeger een natte markt. Het is het centrum voor Maleisische cultuur, kunst en ambacht. U kunt hier winkelen voor lokale unieke handwerken zoals Batik, Songket, Labu Sayong, Pewter, etc. U kunt hier ook enkele lokale producten verkennen, zoals kruiden en specerijen, koffie en chocolade.
Dit is de oudste Chinese tempel die gebouwd is door de stichter van Kuala Lumpur, Yap Ah Loy. Hier kunt u de traditionele overtuigingen van de Chinese taoïstische religie verkennen. Chinese traditionele gebruiken zijn hier in Maleisië nog steeds goed bewaard gebleven en u zult hier ook de Chinese cultuur kunnen begrijpen.
Chinatown of beter bekend als Petaling Street door de lokale bevolking. U kunt hier verschillende soorten artikelen vinden, van textiel tot elektronische producten. Authentiek en traditioneel Chinees eten is hier ook te vinden. Dit is een van de meest bruisende straten in Kuala Lumpur.
Kwai Chai Hong of de Little Demon Street is een hele goede plek voor fotografieliefhebbers. Er zijn veel muurschilderingen om te ontdekken. Deze muurschilderingen gaan vooral over de traditionele levensstijl van de lokale Chinezen.
Het is misschien niet bij u opgekomen dat een gebedshuis zowel cultureel als opvallend tegelijk kan zijn. De Sri Mahamariamman-tempel in Kuala Lumpur is een van de populairste tempels onder zowel gelovigen als bezoekers. De Sri Mahamariamman-tempel werd in 1873 gebouwd door K. Thamboosamy Pillai, maar werd pas in de jaren 20 voor het publiek geopend. Nadat de oorspronkelijke structuur de tand des tijds en elementen had doorstaan, werd deze in 1968 vervangen door het huidige gebouw. Tegenwoordig is de Sri Mahamariamman-tempel, met meer dan een eeuw geschiedenis, de oudste en rijkste hindoetempel in Kuala Lumpur, de hoofdstad van Maleisië.

Due to poor communication between TripAdvisor and local company, nobody was at the meeting place at 9 pm. I sent WhatsApp message, called via WhatsApp, and eventually got through. They were apologetic, and immediately offered afternoon tour. I accepted the offer, my guide was knowledgeable, intelligent and funny. However, this communication failure screwed up my day. It is very hot in KL around Chinese New Year, especially in the afternoon. I've selected 9 am tour to escape heat. Instead of more or less comfortable walk, I got drenched and tired,
Yen is an excellent guide. She was very attentive, knowledgeable & pleasant. I especially enjoyed the British Colonial architecture.

We did a heritage walking tour with Ben. He was very knowledgable of the history and cultural importance of old town KL. Ben explained about Buddhist temples we visited, Chinese temples, and mosques. Walking through Chinatown was great, and Ben showed us various shops, talked about food we saw, and we even sampled some food! Ben comes very highly recommended.
My mother and I had a great time with Chua! We had a 3 hour private tour. We went at a leisurely pace so we could ask plenty of questions. I really liked how he took pictures of us and sent them to me at the end of the tour. I particularly enjoyed the tour of the Chinese temple. Would definitely recommend!
We recently joined a cultural tour in Kuala Lumpur , and it turned out to be both informative and engaging. One of the highlights was the visit to the Chinese temple. The guide explained its history, symbolism, and rituals in detail, offering a fascinating glimpse into how Chinese heritage has shaped the community’s spiritual life. The architecture and preserved artifacts made the visit truly memorable. Our guide was attentive throughout the tour and clearly knowledgeable about the subject matter. However, her English could have been a little stronger, as it sometimes limited the depth of explanation. That said, her warmth and enthusiasm more than made up for it, and the overall experience was worthwhile for anyone interested in understanding Malaysia’s cultural mosaic.
This is a must do tour. Tour guide was very informative, friendly and very passionate about the history and culture of Kuala Lumpur and the best places to eat. I thoroughly enjoyed the Chinese Temple and found it fascinating, along with everything else. Highly recommend for everybody.
This was definitely the highlight of my 3 days in KL. Ben was friendly, polite and very informative. I really enjoyed chatting with him as we walked around the city. I've been to KL several times before but Ben took me to places I'd never seen. He's a very experienced and knowledgeable guide. I highly recommend this tour.
