Krijg een beter begrip van verhalen over de Amerikaans-Vietnamoorlog terwijl je de doolhofachtige Cu Chi-tunnels ontdekt, een 220 kilometer lang netwerk van ondergrondse tunnels die door de Vietcong-soldaten werden gebruikt tijdens een ochtend- of middaggroepstour. Luister naar de opbeurende verhalen van je gids terwijl je in oude opslagruimten tuurt, je hoofd door gecamoufleerde valluiken steekt en door militaire bevoorradingstunnels kruipt. Je hebt de mogelijkheid om je ervaring uit te breiden door op eigen kosten gebruik te maken van de AK47-schietbaan.

Nadat je bent opgehaald, begin je aan je reis naar het westen van de stad, richting Cu Chi (60 km - 1,5 uur). Bekijk bij aankomst een documentaire over de oorlog in Vietnam. Vervolgens ontdekken we speciaal gebouwde woonruimtes met keukens, slaapkamers, opslag, wapenfabrieken, veldhospitalen en commandocentra om iedereen die in de Cu Chi-tunnels woont te helpen bij het voorzien in hun basisbehoeften terwijl we luisteren naar de verhalen van je gids over de geschiedenis van dit land. Veel verborgen achter valluiken en gevaarlijke vallen in de doolhofachtige tunnels zullen worden onthuld, en we zullen meer leren over de handgemaakte wapens en vallen die tijdens de oorlog werden gebruikt. Het zien van enorme bomkraters en het slechts 3 tot 4 meter dikke niveau van de bovengrond kan het draaggewicht van een tank van 55 ton en de explosieve schade van bommen uit de oorlog dragen. Hoogtepunt van de reis is om te kruipen en de ondergrondse stad Cu Chi Tunnels te ervaren. Het leukste van de reis is erin kruipen om te ervaren hoe het was.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
We halen klanten op hun adres op tussen 07:40 en 8:20 uur voor de ochtendrit en van 12:00 tot 12:45 uur voor de middagrit. Onze chauffeur en gids leiden de ophaalpunten langs de klanten om ervoor te zorgen dat we de stad zo snel mogelijk verlaten. De reis eindigt rond 14:00 uur voor de ochtendreis en 19:00 uur voor de middagreis.

professional, kind and very fluent speaking guide ( leo/tai). started our journey early morning slot, 2 hour drive, stopped for breakfast and went through lacquer museum after that went to chu chi tunnels spent 4 hours there experiencing the caves and the history of Vietnamese people, was a wonderful tour , engaging, would recommend to everyone. entry fee was normal. has a shooting range inside that you must have to try though it should be paid extra by the clients as it's not covered in the package.

Tunnel tour was great, excellent guide. The unexpected stop at the Lacquerware place wasn't ideal

Our guide in the communication with the arranging company was fantastic. Three of us went and it was a private guided tour with pickup and drop off at our hotel. Super dedicated and friendly tour guide. He could tell us a lot about the history of Vietnam on the way out. We were a small group of 4 people, which was also great. It was not a good experience Vehicle was terrible stinky wIth cigar smell. Luckily we had masks. The guide was energetic but we couldn’t understand his English. So we didn’t follow him at all. Once we were at the camp, we just went with the flow. Overall didnot enjoy the tour with the guide and the vehicle

Vu/Daniel was a great guide, got us to all the cool spots at Cu Chi tunnels even tho it was very busy, did the tunnels and small hiding holes, Daniel explained everything in good detail and was an overall very enjoyable experience.
