Als een Canadese Signature Experience is Norquay's Via Ferrata een must-do activiteit bij een bezoek aan Banff National Park. Onze hooggekwalificeerde ACMG-gecertificeerde gidsen leiden u naar de kliffen van Mt Norquay die boven de Bow Valley hangen en uitkijken over de stad Banff. Stalen handgrepen, ladders en voetstappen, evenals een stalen veiligheidskabel, zijn aan de rotswand bevestigd voor assistentie en veiligheid. Klimmers worden veilig vastgemaakt aan de veiligheidskabel tijdens het klimmen. Hoewel er geen eerdere klimervaring nodig is, moeten gasten fit genoeg zijn om een ladder te beklimmen en een paar uur in de bergen te wandelen.

A great experience from start to finish. The ferrata is in pristine condition, Matt our guide was funny, knowledgeable, skilled and very attentive to everyone’s needs. The views of Banff and the valleys are incredible.
Very safe but surprisingly exposed and exhilarating. Would recommend it highly. We’re in the 65 yo age group and is was very doable, though at times a little strenuous.
Easily my favorite activity from our trip! Even my fiance, who is afraid of heights, had an amazing time. Everyone at Norquay was friendly and helpful. Our guide Ben was the best. He made sure everyone was safe and made the whole experience fun. He even made sure to get a few action shots for everyone. The views at the top of the mountain are stunning. I also appreciated that they had boot rentals included for anyone that needed them. While we didn’t get a chance to eat at the Cliffhouse Bistro, since you finish right next to it I’d recommend stopping for food after. Overall, the entire experience was incredible! If you are in the fence about doing it, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
I’m a bit afraid of heights and our guides were so patient and walked me through the whole climb and could read when it was time for me to not go further. There was no judgement just support.
Booked the Via Ferrata Explorer tour and had such a great experience! Our tour guide Juan was kind, knowledgeable and made us feel safe the entire trip, and shared some great information about Banff. This was a highlight during our visit here! If anyone is looking to do a fun activity then I highly recommend this tour! I would definitely go back again.
The 4-hour Ridgewalker tour was one of our favorite things we did in the Banff area. Our guide, Amber, was knowledgeable, safe, calm, and a lot of fun. It was a thrilling family adventure. I felt safe the entire time. The pictures are priceless. I would highly recommend this tour. My quads were sore for days after, so this was the perfect amount of time. Try it out because you will never forget it.
What an amazing experience. I can truthfully say I wasn’t prepared for it being a true rock climbing experience but our guide Amanda was fantastic! She helped my husband and I every step with clear, encouraging instructions! She is truly a major credit to Via Ferrata. Nanny and Pop from NY got it done and have such a sense of accomplishment. We had no prior climbing experience so this was a challenge but the views and workout was amazing!
