Ontdek een andere kant van Bangkok terwijl u zich buiten het toeristische pad waagt en de landelijke dorpen en klongs (kanalen) verkent. Vaar over de Chao Phraya-rivier naar Nonthaburi, bezoek een traditionele markt en glijd langs de schilderachtige khlongs op een Rocket-boot, voordat u geniet van een heerlijke Thaise lunch op een markt met lokale culturen. Tour brengt je naar een locatie ten noordwesten van Bangkok aan de Chao Phraya rivier. De stad maakt deel uit van het grotere Bangkok Metropolitan Area. De geschiedenis van het gebied is gerelateerd aan koning Rama III van de Chakri-dynastie. Er was een beroemde fruittuin en originele track van de Main River in Thailand genaamd Chao Phraya River. U zult genieten met de oude stad van vele tempels.

Phra Sumen Fort is een fort gebouwd in de regering van koning Rama I. In die tijd werden 14 forten gebouwd om de hoofdstad te beschermen. Na verloop van tijd waren de forten echter niet meer nodig en werden ze afgebroken. Phra Sumen Fort is een van de twee forten die nog over zijn, de andere is Mahakan Fort.
De Rama VIII-brug is een brug met kabelverbinding over de Chao Phraya-rivier in Bangkok, Thailand.
De Nationale Vergadering van Thailand, of parlement, is de wetgevende tak van de Thaise regering en wordt beschouwd als een van de drie instellingen die de soevereine macht in het land vertegenwoordigen.
Het district werd in 1904 opgericht en kreeg de naam Bang Yai. Vanwege de omvang was het moeilijk te besturen, en dus werd in 1917 het noordelijke deel afgesplitst als klein district (koning amphoe), Bang Mae Nang. In 1921 werd Bang Mae Nang een volwaardig district.
Deze tempel werd opgericht tijdens het bewind van koning Barommagot van Ayutthaya en ligt in Tambon Chalo. De tempel werd gebouwd in de kenmerkende stijl van een traditioneel Europees koopvaardijschip. Vele levens waren verloren gegaan toen schepen in de nabijgelegen rivier verzonken, en het lokale geloof dicteerde dat, als gevolg daarvan, een tempel moest worden gebouwd als een boot om geluk terug te brengen. Hoewel al vele jaren verlaten, namen monniken uiteindelijk weer hun intrek in de tempel tijdens de regering van koning Rama de III of IV.
Nonthaburi ligt in een vruchtbaar bassin aan de oever van de Chao Phraya rivier, waar veel fruit- en bloemenplantages worden afgewisseld met een aantal historische tempels.

Our guide Joker was fun and knowledgeable. The organisation of different transportation means was super smooth. The route covered wide area and we saw daily life outside tourist area. People were friendly. As an extra step, our guide surprised us with a video about our experience (he took many pictures and videos and shared with us) after the trip. We were really happy with that day - time and money super-well invested!

A fantastic experience, with a variety of methods of transports you really get a flavour of thai life. 2 trains, a ferry, a tuk tuk and a rocket boat finally returning to Bangkok via a premium cab it was a great use of half a day. My guide Enjoy was very knowledgeable & friendly. Recommend highly! The rocket boat was the highlight at times we really laid down some speed.
