Deze 6 uur durende tour is perfect voor degenen die niet veel tijd over hebben. Misschien ben je in de stad voor een conferentie of moet je later op de dag vliegen? Dit is de rondleiding voor jou. Je krijgt de prachtige Angkor Wat tempel te zien en je krijgt ook de mogelijkheid om de Zuidpoort van Angkor Thom te verkennen.

Nadat we u komen ophalen bij uw hotel, nemen we u mee om uw Angkor Pass op te halen. We gaan dan rechtstreeks naar Angkor Wat. Je loopt langs de toegangsweg, over de grote gracht, en gaat de buitenste omheining van Angkor Wat binnen. Hier zul je versteld staan van de grootte van de gebouwen en het complex om je heen. Je gids zal de geschiedenis en indeling van de tempel uitleggen terwijl we het grootste deel van Angkor Wat naderen. Je hebt tijd om de gebouwen te verkennen, het houtsnijwerk en de bas-reliëfs te bekijken en meer te weten te komen over de geschiedenis van deze geweldige tempel.
Als we Angkor Wat hebben verkend, is het tijd om richting de Zuidpoort van Angkor Thom te gaan. Hier zie je het gigantische lachende gezicht dat op je neerkijkt vanaf de ingang van de uitgestrekte stad Angkor Thom. De ingang is zeer sierlijk met prachtig houtsnijwerk om te bekijken. De verhoogde weg over de gracht is net zo fascinerend. Er zijn 54 goden aan de ene kant en 54 duivels aan de andere kant. Je kunt de twee uit elkaar houden omdat de goden naar je zullen glimlachen en de boze geesten een grimas zullen hebben.
Voordat we de tour beëindigen, keren we terug naar het hotel en blijven we de Ta Prohm-tempel bezoeken. a Prohm is de moderne naam van een tempel nabij de stad Siem Reap, Cambodja, ongeveer een kilometer ten oosten van Angkor Thom en aan de zuidelijke rand van de East Baray. Het werd grotendeels eind 12e en begin 13e eeuw in Bayon-stijl gebouwd en heette oorspronkelijk Rajavihara.
Voordat we terugkeren naar het hotel bezoeken we het en The Bayon is een rijk versierde Khmer tempel gerelateerd aan het boeddhisme in Angkor in Cambodja. Gebouwd in de late 12e of vroege 13e eeuw als de staatstempel van de koning Jayavarman VII, staat de Bayon in het centrum van de hoofdstad van Jayavarman, Angkor Thom.

Everything went exceptionally well. This half day is perfect for someone who has limited time in the city and wants the flexibility without following a group tour. Plus, The tuk tuk is super clean and spacious!

Thy was an amazing tour guide! We enjoyed this tour as a family of 3. 2 adults and our 9 year old. Thy was so knowledgeable and was very aware of the heat as it was over 42 degrees. He went above and beyond to show us his beautiful heritage and history. Highly recommend. He is also an amazing photographer!

Longdy was the perfect guide for my half-day temple tour punctual, polite, and accommodating of my jet lag . His knowledge was fantastic, covering ancient history and what life in Cambodia looks like today, making the experience so much richer than just sightseeing. we did a half day tour with a capable guide who explained the history and other interesting details around the site and the country. the tour also included Angkor Tom and what they call "Tomb raider" site. absolutely worth the trip. the "real thing" is very impressive

Our guide for this tour, Sinan, was unbelievably exceptionally good!!! We have had guides at Angkor Wat before, but Sinan gave us so much more information. And he is an excellent photographer as well and knew all the good spots and angles for absolutely wonderful photos. If I could give Sinan 10 stars, I would. I can’t say enough good about him.

Tour Operator didn't show up the morning of the tour. Ended up hiring a tuk tuk available in front of the hotel. Viator agent was challenging my reason for requesting a refund. Took a lot of back and forth with the agent. I had to provide a screenshot of the advertised tour to get the refund.

This is a great option if you aren't wanting to spend an entire day at Angkor Wat - we were short on time in Siem Reap and didn't want to "waste" an entire day looking at temples, so we opted for the tuktuk half day tour and honestly, I recommend it!! The tuktuk driver was Suphal and he was very professional. The tuktuk was very nice and we were also provided water.

I had an amazing time with my guide Thy. So much to praise about his friendliness, excellent knowledge of various topics, attention and dedication to customers. As I was solo he took care of taking many photos of me and also us together for some good memory. I highly recommend this tour!
