Wees getuige van de schoonheid en wildernis van de oudste kalksteenformatie van Zuidoost-Azië, die 380-450 miljoen jaar geleden dateerde, terwijl je kajakt en geniet van de rust en sereniteit van het Kilim-mangrovebos. Hier in het Kilim Karst Geoforest-park kun je ze allemaal zien; Mangrove, kalksteen, rivier, regenwoud en zee, alles op één plek! Dit is het leefgebied van adelaars, otters, apen, ijsvogels enz. Een geweldige manier om ze te spotten en zo dichtbij mogelijk te zijn terwijl je ze hun dagelijkse bezigheden in het wild ziet doen.

Zie lokale vleermuizen die in een kalkstenen grot sliepen. de gast maakt ook kennis met de kalksteenformatie, het mangrovebos en andere dieren in het wild die daar te zien zijn
De tweede stop is een van de drijvende restaurants/viskwekerijen. hier zullen we een visshow doen door het personeel van de boerderij. we zullen ook een bestelling plaatsen voor de lunch en hier een laatste toiletpauze houden voordat we gaan kajakken. Alle gasten krijgen hier ook een drybag, drinkwater, zwemvest en peddel voordat de gids instructies geeft over hoe te kajakken
Nadat ze in de kajak zijn gestapt, volgen alle passagiers hun gids die het mangrovebos in kajakt terwijl ze proberen dieren te spotten en op een bepaald punt stoppen voor kort commentaar van de gids. Tijdens onze kajakactiviteit gaan we ook Eagle Watching doen (geen dierenvoeding hier van onze kant).
Tenslotte gaan we terug naar de viskwekerij en gaan hier een eenvoudige lunchset gebruiken die bestaat uit kip/loempia's, gebakken rijst, fruitschaal, groentetomyumsoep en limoenijsthee (veganistische en vegetarische opties zijn ook beschikbaar)

One of the best activity agencies on the island. Fauzan and his team are very attentive and ensure everything goes smoothly—from hotel pickup to the activity itself and the return trip. We also want to thank our guide, Ms. Yun, who explained everything clearly and helped us spot local wildlife. If you come to Langkawi, this is a must-do activity.
We booked this kayak tour because we want to see the mangrove up close. This tour is surprisingly well put together, and consists of: a part with boat, bat cave including the notes, kayak part (2 hours) and lunch on a floating restaurant. We think the kayak tour is one of the most fun activities in Langkawi. The mangrove inside is clean and impressive. We have spotted several animals.
We went on the 4 hour mangrove boat tour yesterday morning which we both had a great time on. It was a well organised trip and Fauzan was a really good tour guide. We got the opportunity to see many bats in the caves, monkeys, monitor lizards, sea eagles, Langkawi kites, stopped at a beautiful beach for a swim and had lunch on the floating restaurant/fish farm. Would highly recommend doing this tour whilst in Langkawi!
Fantastic day with Fauzan, exploring the bat caves, fish farm and mangroves. Communication was excellent throughout, he was super knowledgable, friendly and overall great company. We saw monitor lizards, sea eagles, kites, bats, kingfishers, monkeys, frogs, mud fish and an array of butterfly. We were also lucky enough to have great weather and for it to just be the two of us, so a private tour! Thank you so much, would thoroughly recommend.
Best tour ! The kayak experience is the best ! You are in the maze of the mangroves. You can even swim in it. We loved the tour and recommended if you feel a bit more adventurous

Amazing experience going through the mangroves on kayaks. Great to see the beautiful scenery, huge variety of animals, birds and creatures. Our guide Yan was very knowledgeable and friendly and took us to some amazingly peaceful spots, and made the whole experience better.
