Beschrijving
Dit is een kajaktour met een verschil. Deze reis neemt je mee van Lanta naar de prachtige eilanden. De tour begint met een ophaalservice van uw hotel om 8 of 13 uur. Je wordt overgebracht naar de Tungyeepeng Pier (aan de noordoostkust van Lanta), waar we aan boord gaan van de longtailboot en naar Ko Aung gaan. Geniet van drijvend per kajak in het mangrovebos van Tungyeepeng. Dit is een prachtige plek voor verkenning, aapjes eten, unieke hagedissen en kleurrijke vogels kijken. Vervolgens gaan we verder naar Koh Aung-eiland om per kajak de Koh Talabeng-zeegrot te verkennen, waarna we onze verkenning beëindigen en terugkeren naar de Tungyeepeng-pier.

Overzicht van de route Hotel ophalen & transfer Begin met een handige pick-up van uw hotel en transfer naar Thung Yee Peng Pier. Longtail boot bekijken Geniet van een schilderachtige longtail boottocht rond Koh Phee en Koh Aung, waarbij u de prachtige kustlandschappen in u opneemt. Talabeng eiland avontuur Ga naar Talabeng Island waar je de indrukwekkende Talabeng Sea Caves verkent door te kajakken. Breng tijd door met zwemmen, zonnebaden en ontspannen op het ongerepte strand. Bezoek aan het Mangrovebos Ga verder naar het Mangrove Forest om wilde dieren zoals wilde apen en modderschippers in hun natuurlijke omgeving te observeren. Terugkeer overdracht Na de tour word je terug gebracht en afgezet bij je hotel.

Boat trip was pleasant through the mangroves , the onto the kayaking visiting monkeys in there wild habitats was the highlight. Didnt think much of the caves , lot of standing around in caves that weren’t that Interesring . Pick up was 8.20 am and no one turned up until 9am and that was after phoning them .
Really nice excursion. It had everything we expected. Really nice to first go in the mangrove and then on with the boat excursion to the island and kayaks. Got to see caves and a beach to ourselves for swimming. Then back and watch more monkeys. Can really be recommended
A nice excursion, picked up at the agreed time. First a longtail boat ride through the mangrove swamps to take us out to the beach where our canoes were waiting. Incredibly beautiful nature and beautiful caves. Very relaxing
A truly lovely morning! From the pickup to the end of the day everything was really well organised, we even ended up having a private boat just the two of us. We saw so many beautiful islands on the boat and got up close on the kayak. The caves and jungle views were stunning, and cute monkeys were a bonus. The staff were lovely, Anat was the best guide, and Safeel was a great captain. We even got to swim at the islands. 10/10 would highly recommend, the morning tour especially as by 1pm it was incredibly hot even on the boat.
Mega relaxed tour. Guide was very cool. Got fruit and water. Monkeys were very friendly there were individual monkeys lured onto the boat and you could take cool pictures.
The guide did not issue life vests and the kayaks had obviously not been checked. The kayak we had was faulty causing water to enter the cavity of the boat, this caused us to fall behind the group, the kayak also became unbalanced and we capsized, with no one around we had to fend for ourselves in the middle if the Andaman sea, which was terrifying. There was only 1 guide who was at the front of the group with us that far behind and out of site we had to swim whilst dragging the kayak, paddles and our bag whilst shouting for help!! Luckily we are fairly good swimmers otherwise this could have been fatal!!!! Worst trip we have been on in Thailand and we have been on many!!! So upset and shaken up by the whole experience

After reviewing the incident with our team, we found that the kayak was damaged due to hitting underwater rocks along the route, which caused some water to enter one of the floatation compartments. However, the kayak did not sink and remained buoyant at all times. Once our guide became aware of the issue, he immediately assisted and provided a replacement kayak so that you could continue the trip safely. We regularly inspect all equipment before each tour, and the safety of our guests is always our top priority. Nonetheless, this incident has made us realize that we must further strengthen our safety protocols, including guide positioning and maintaining closer supervision of all participants throughout the trip. We are truly sorry that the experience left you feeling upset and shaken, and we thank you again for your feedback, which helps us improve our service. We had a great day exploring islands and mangroves, boat and equipment was great. However, we booked a full day and the other couple on our tour had booked a full tour. Therefore we were automatically on the full day without being told. Luckily we didn’t need to be anywhere otherwise this would have been a big problem. Our guide and boat driver were great, even though there were some language barriers. A fair amount of fitness and mobility is needed for this tour, you will need to kayak for an hour and getting in and out of the boat into the ocean is not very accessible for small children or elderly.
Great trip. Only 3 people so very easy. Great young guide. Great fun so would recomend. Lots of monkeys and the sea caves were awesome.
Worth seeing, but also partly demanding. The climbing is not to be underestimated. I had my 5 year old son with me and was very challenged. (not recommended for children at that age) All in all, however, nice.
More time on a long tail boat than anything else, but it was still a good way to spend an afternoon seeing something different. The guide had limited English, so was a bit hard to get any details, but he communicated the basics well. Monkey feeding was a highlight, as were the views.
