Onze werkzaamheden starten rond 8.00 uur en duren tot 16.30 uur. Tussen die tijden kunt u uw rondleiding komen volgen. Ook duurt een tour normaal gesproken ongeveer 40 minuten tot 1 uur om te voltooien. Bij het volgen van de plantagetour moet je deelnemen aan de theepluksessie. Vóór de sessie voerden we de gebruikelijke aanbidding van Lord Ganesh uit in een kleine kovil dicht bij de plantage. U ontvangt ook uw mand om thee te oogsten, evenals een kleine mottu. Als je besluit om deel te nemen aan de theeplukactiviteit, kun je misschien de gebruikelijke theeplukkleding van een wraparound saree of sarong dragen. Ontspan te midden van het adembenemende uitzicht op eindeloos groen, theelandgoederen en het omliggende platteland in ons Sky Café vanaf een bergtop van 300 meter boven de grond / 1300 meter boven de zeespiegel. Geniet van een unieke theeproeverij en ontdek hoe en waarom Ceylon thee verkrijgbaar is in verschillende kwaliteiten en smaken die passen bij diverse paletten wereldwijd.

We zijn er trots op een van de beste theeproducenten in Sri Lanka te zijn en worden bekroond als een van de grootste producenten van Ceylon-thee. Omringd door weelderige groene theevelden, biedt de fabriek een aantal activiteiten, van wandelen door weelderige groene theetuinen, thee plukken en het theeproductieproces leren kennen tot eindelijk genieten van je eigen kopje thee om de theereis te voltooien.

Salary was a fantastic guide. He was so knowledgeable about the tea plantation and the tea. He made the experience fun and entertaining. We loved doing the tea picking - wear decent shoes/trainers as it’s pretty slippery even in dry conditions. Tasting 10 different teas at the end was a bit too much but overall it was great
