De Handmade Tea Tour biedt drie primaire ervaringen, te beginnen met thee plukken op ons thee landgoed. 1. Theeplukken : Begin met een theepluksessie, inclusief traditionele aanbidding in een nabijgelegen kovil. Deelnemers ontvangen een mandje en kunnen traditionele theeplukkleding dragen. 2. Tea Crafting : Bezoek een mini-faciliteit om handgemaakte thee te zien maken, gevolgd door een kort overzicht van het theezetproces in de fabriek en de verpakking van uw geselecteerde thee. 3. Tea Tasting : Geniet van een theeproeverij in Sky Cafe. De tour biedt plaats aan maximaal 6 bezoekers per keer, met zes dagelijkse slots : Handgemaakte Tea Tour Tijd Slots : (Sri Lankaanse tijd). 8:00 - 10:00 uur 9:30 - 11:30 uur 11:00 - 13:00 uur 12:30 - 2:30 uur 2:00 - 4:00 uur 3:30 - 5:30 uur Neem voor meer informatie contact op met de medewerker van de theefabriek.

We had the full tour at Halpewattee factory/plantation today and it was an excellent experience. Our guide Janitha explained everything perfectly and we had a really good timr.

The tea factory is so crowd and full of people joining different tours, so need to stay alert and keep asking the staff in order to make sure can join the tour, The hand-make tea guide and staft were so so so helpful and nice. He explians every details of tea making. We enjoy it a lot

Exceeds expectations - great experience learning about the history of tea, tea harvesting and making and the option to make your own tea was super fun for the whole family. Harshan our guide was fantastic and enthusiastic. The setting was beautiful. it was nice and cool, there was a well appointed tea shop, a little cafe serving baked goods and coffee. Highly recommended!

Such a worthwhile experience! I enjoyed every second: learning about the tea plant, picking our own leaves, making our own green tea from what we picked and the factory tour. Our tour guide Hashan was very friendly and enthusiastic and was very knowledgeable. Was also a good photographer! 11/10

It was a great experience to make your own tea and to drink and take it with you at the end. Everything was explained well and the factory is also really active so you can see and understand the whole process.

I accidentally ended up booking 3 different tea estate / factory tours during my trip in Sri Lanka, so I was initially hesitant of doing the 3rd tour, but am really glad that I made it. The site: The factory is the largest among the 3 I've visited, with more automation and a good mix of machines from different ages. The plantation isn't the largest (around 50 acres) as this site is mostly for the black tea factory / tours. However, the site itself is absolutely beautiful, as it sits at top of a hill with 260 degrees paranormal view of the mountains, forests and tea planation grounds. Just the view itself made the tour worth it. The tour: The guide Priyanka is super detailed with her explanations. She went beyond explaining about black tea processing steps, to also include planting of tea trees, to even the tea auctioning process in Sri Lanka. I'm also really glad that the "handmade tea tour" is about green tea, so it gives more variety to the usual black tea factory tour.
