Halong Bay (Hạ Long Bay) is de bekendste en meest bezochte toeristische attractie van Vietnam. Jaarlijks trekken meer dan 6 miljoen mensen naar het gebied om rond te varen op houten boten, ook wel jonken genoemd. Wat Halong Bay zo uniek maakt, zijn de 2000-tal kalkstenen eilanden en eilandjes die uit de wateren voor de kust tevoorschijn komen. Deze variëren van torenhoge karsts met diepe grotten tot kleine formaties omringd door witte zandstranden. In 1994 werd Halong Bay uitgeroepen tot UNESCO-werelderfgoed. Sindsdien staat het bovenaan de bucketlist van elke reiziger.

Harley was great at her job and doubled checked the schedules and itinerary and explained ed to me about overnight home stay etc. i was feeling unwell the second day so only saw a small amount of what was available but when i explained to Harley i wasn’t feeling great she sorted transport back to Hanoi old quarter, she also messaged couple days later to check how i was feeling.

Great boat, excellent tour guide, brilliant scenery and great stops. Lunch was lovely and the sunset party was a nice surprise.
What an amazing day! We had a wonderful time with our fellow travellers and our fun tour guide Tung. It was all so well organised including lunch and tea on the boat and of course the cocktails at sunset. The Kayaking and small boat ride were particularly entertaining. Special mention must be given to Harley, who booked our trip and also our transfer to Hanoi Airport the next day. She kept us informed and updated all the way. We have booked a day tour to Halong bay and a 2 night 3 day tour with an easy rider in Ha Giang with Harley from Crossing Vietnam, we are so thankful and happy that we went to Crossing Vietnam and met Harley, the service and tour was excellent! Harley helped us very good, she was very kind, friendly and has a lot of patience, when we only asked for the price and went away, she still stays very friendly. We have looked around a few travel companies, but went back to Harley, because she gives us a better feeling and price. She arranged everything very well for us.
