Halong Bay Cruise Eendaagse tours inbegrepen Pick-up & Transfers

Everything was as expected and the staff on the ship as well as the accommodation was above expectation. The staff was so very courteous and sweet, and very concerned for everyone's comfort and enjoyment. However, our biggest positive impression came with an unfortunate mishap on our part. At the end of our trip, as we were being driven back to Hanoi in a van, we realized we'd left a large amount of cash and our passports in the safe in our room on the ship. We were totally panicked as our van driver told us that the ship had already left the harbor with another group. But the driver then made some calls to his manager and gave us some assurance that there may be a way to send a messenger out to the speed boat to retrieve our passport. He made some more calls. At this point, we just wanted our passports back as we were leaving the country within 36 hours. After agonizing 30-40 minutes later, the driver showed us a picture of our money and our passports. He said they will retrieve them from the boat, and have someone drive it out to us 3 hours away to our hotel in Hanoi that night at 8pm. We were relieved with the picture but still only 50% assured and debated whether we should go back to Halong Bay ourselves. But the driver assured us we will get our stuff back. Around 8pm that night, someone showed up with a sealed envelope containing our money and passports. We didn't get charged for anything and in fact, had to insist to the person who delivered our stuff to take the tip. In a relatively poor country where people make so little money, we couldn't believe we got all of our money and our passport that same day! This company has amazing policies and amazing staff who really look out for the guests. I was thoroughly impressed and they really saved our trip that could've turned into a total disaster. Thank you so much to the management and everyone involved!

We did a one day trip with IndoChina Junk to Bai Tu Long Bay which is much quieter than Halong Bay. Got picked up at 8.30 and we were away on our boat by 12pm. We had about five hours on the boat which I think is plenty of time. I don’t see the point of staying overnight. We had an excellent lunch, visited some caves, did some kayaking and back to the port by 5.30. There is a very quick motorway now that links Hanoi with Halong Bay port. I highly recommend this company.

We had an excellent 2 night cruise with Indochina Junk. There was just the right amount of activity and relaxation. The amount of food they fed you was over the top. Also the transportation they provided worked very well.

We did a one night cruise on the Dragon Pearl and it was absolutely perfect. Everything about the trip from organisation to transport to the guide to the food was 10/10. Indochina Junk takes you to the quietest part of Halong Bay and the scenery is magical. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants a 1 night cruise. Tony the guide was also great.

It was an incredible experience ! The crew members and staff were exceptional ! Highly highly recommend ! The new route was not crowded and it felt exclusive to us !

We took the two-day/one-night cruise, practically 24 hours on board, on the boat called Dragons Pearl, a 10-cabin wooden boat. All quite well, simple boat, but clean. Small cabins, but for the time you spend on board, acceptable. Good food, beautiful kayak excursion, the one to the floating village a bit disappointing, it is not a village as you might expect, little lived, some floating houses here and there, it seemed abandoned. Value for money low, the cruise, as much as offered, is very expensive. However, what conditioned our judgment is the lack of professionalism of the booking and customer care office. Actually we had asked to book the cruise with the higher category ship, the Dragons Legend, when we received confirmation we did not think, stupidly, to double check the name of the boat, it must be said that being all very similar, it is easy to get confused, for us. Upon our arrival at the port we found we were booked on the smallest and least luxurious boat, we tried to ask, but there was nothing to do, the time is very tight and those who take care of the embarkations must do everything in a short time. Not having access to the emails with the booking office, there is no Wi-Fi on board the Pearl, we thought we did not remember well what we requested more than two months before and decided to enjoy the holiday. Upon our return to Hanoi, checking our request emails, the bitter surprise of having had a different service than requested. It must be said that we paid the right price for the lower category boat. We write both to the customer care, who had contacted us for an opinion on the holiday, and to the person who had followed us and, despite the promise of a response from Customer care, the person at the bookings never responded to us, we did not receive anything more. We weren't asking for refunds, but at least an apology or feedback email was the least they could do. In short, good at selling, but absent in the after sales. Double-check your reservations!!

Disappointing. I can imagine this place was beautiful at one stage but is no longer the case. Water covered in rubbish and there are way too many vessels allowed to operate at the same time. It is a shame.

The weather could have been better but we still had a great time on our cruiz. Amazing sights and a great tour guide makes for a fun time. There is also more to do around the bay but make sure to come in the spring to early fall for optimal experience.

Unpleasant experience - the sea was filthy with rubbish everywhere as the ship sails, dock and when we went for kayaking. It is very sad to see the UNESCO site was not preserved and well-maintained by the government. I did not like my cruise I have chosen and would not return to Halong Bay as it was not a pretty sight to see the rubbish on the sea.

The bay is fabulous and sadly we did not even see it at its best as we had rain and mist! We spent a night in the bay on an Indochine Cruise boat which I would thoroughly recommend. It was a beautiful boat and meant we had longer there. Lucky to get a swim in the bay too off the boat.
