Great hospitality but busy schedule. Staff couldn’t be more willing to help make the trip more memorable.
The inside of the boat and surrounding scenery are unreal, and the staff is incredibly accomodating. Nam was a fantastic manager. Excursions are pretty busy though, and unfortunately due to the other travellers not wanting to do anything we didn’t get to have the sunset party/karaoke. If you go with a good group of people at a less busy time of year this trip will be perfect!
We enjoyed our time on the boat and in Halong Bay. Bing was a great guide. She was friendly, fun and tried hard to ensure everything worked on time. It was disappointing to hear that there would be on Tai Chi at sunrise because the teacher had the day off? It was also disappointing to pay extra to have a balcony but couldn’t use it because smoking is allowed on balconies and we surrounded by smoke. It should only be allowed on the top deck so that everyone can breathe the clean air and enjoy the cruise. There is also too much waiting around once you get off the boat in the morning until your transfer back to Hanoi. There should be some activity organized as we waited for 2 hours!
Nice and clean vessel with friendly staff and good food, bus transfer from Hanoi was also very good.
We came to Mr Son also known as David walking on the street of Hanoi looking for a good tour advisor and the search for someone who can plan the tour in Vietnam was over as he is very kind, generous and helpful . He helped us with the tour in Ninh Binh, Halong Bay , Bana hills & Hoi An and it was superfun . Thanks to Mr David for the amazing planning i highly recommend Vietnam Green Travels if you are coming to Vietnam for tourism purpose
