Het strand heeft zowel kiezel als zand, met een mooi onderhouden park ernaast. Actieve mensen kunnen genieten van verschillende watersporten in de turquoise wateren.
Afitos was ooit het meest bewoonde dorp van Kassandra op een bepaald punt van de 19e eeuw, en de meeste van zijn religieuze structuren zijn destijds ontstaan - de St. Dimitrios-kerk in het centrum van Afitos, de St. George-kapel, de Maria-hemelvaartkapel, enzovoort. Het huis van Aletras, op het centrale plein, herbergt het Folkloremuseum en geeft je tips over de manier van leven in deze regio.
Aan de oostelijke kant van Nea Fokea is het bekende "Agiasma" (Heilig water) van Apostel Paulus een van de meest aansprekende en interessante bezienswaardigheden.

We halen gasten op van alle hotels en Airbnbs in Thessaloniki. Als het hotel vanwege beperkingen niet met de auto bereikbaar is, wordt u opgehaald vanaf een nabijgelegen locatie op korte loopafstand. Cruiseschipreizigers: ontmoetingspunt is de uitgang van de cruisehaventerminal. Je gids houdt een naambord vast met de naam van de reiziger erop. Luchthavenreizigers: ophalen en wegbrengen is mogelijk zonder extra kosten vanaf de luchthaven van Macedonië.

We originally booked for the Pozars but the family and friends didn’t want to go due to the heat. Anna our guide was able to change us to this beach experience, spa, and a castle visit. George was a terrific guide that tailored our trip to go beyond our expectations. He brought us to a smaller more private beach that was spectacular. We also visited some key sites and a village with epic views of the Aegean Sea. Highly recommend.

Quite pricey but worth it. Solon is the perfect host. The Mercedes car used is spotlessly clean. We went to Afitos and Halkidiki. I will not hesitate to refer friends.
