⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hannah was absolutely amazing!! We had her as our raft guide during a bachelorette trip, and she made the entire experience so much fun from start to finish. She kept us laughing the whole time while also making everyone feel completely safe and comfortable on the river. Even when the bride had a little mishap getting back into the raft after hopping in for a swim 😂, Hannah handled it like a pro and made sure she was safely back on board without missing a beat. It honestly just became one more funny memory from an already amazing day. On top of being such a fun guide, Hannah was basically our unofficial Montana tour guide too! She shared so much interesting information about Montana’s history and the surrounding areas, plus gave us great recommendations for food, hiking, and other things to check out while we were there. She also told us about The Redside Foundation, which supports professional outdoor guides with resources focused on mental health, financial wellness, and overall well-being. It was really cool learning a little more about the guide community and the organization supporting the people who make experiences like this possible. Hannah was knowledgeable, hilarious, friendly, and genuinely made our rafting trip one of the highlights of the bachelorette weekend. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide! 10/10 would absolutely raft with Hannah again especially now that the bride has had some practice getting back into the boat. 😂🛶💕
Brooke was amazing. Lots of fun, lots of good info. She did a great job sharing about the river and the park. Very laid back - great guide !! Thank you !!
Gorgeous views. Relaxing float with a few mild rapids. Would’ve like more history and facts from the tour guide.
When we arrived for check in the rain was coming down pretty hard. We booked the scenic float because we have a six and nine year old and were concerned they wouldn't be able to handle 2+ hours on a raft in the rain. The check in assured us we would be provided wet suits and shoes that would keep us warm along with additional coats. Given we traveled all the way from Chicago (and had our exchange student) we decided to go for it...AND THANKFULLY WE DID. We later found out that 17 people had booked the trip, and 10 cancelled. BIG MISTAKE...HUGE! The five of us shared a raft with a couple from Iowa. Our guide was Motz, who was very relaxed and energetic at the same time. He provided a lot of great information throughout the tour, but also found times for us to enjoy the quiet being the middle of nature. With the weather being so bad the best part of the tour was NOBODY was on the river. We ran into 2 fishing boats in the first 10 minutes, and then the next 2 hours the only other things we saw were a few bald eagles and ducks. Otherwise it was calm, quiet and serene. The wet suits really did keep us warm for the most part. There were a few "fast" parts the kids enjoyed without being intense. It was a serene experience. When the weather is nice Glacier is packed. If you find yourself in Glacier on a rainy day and are looking to connect with nature in a unique way this is a really great experience.
This was the best part of our trip to Glacier NP. The people at the raft company were great from the moment we arrived, helping with getting our life preservers and letting us know where to gather and what to expect. We took the scenic float. It was our first experience taking a raft. Make sure to wear footwear you don’t mind getting wet as you do walk into the water to get in the raft. Our guide, Wylie, was really cool. He maneuvered the raft for all 8 of us, and gave clear to instruct us when to paddle. He made the trip fun and interesting with information about the river and surrounding area. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting the area.
Josh was a terrific guide and knew so much about the river and the area. He was a pleasure to spend 2 hours with in the river. Thanks Josh and our 2 bus drivers.
August ride with calm serene atmosphere. For most of the ride it is slow and scenic. There were a couple of faster moving places. Our guide Reid did a great job of steering while giving us background and pointing out scenery.
We enjoyed a very relaxing few hours on the river with our guide Josh. The weather was perfect (although some smoke from the local fires) and the river water was cold (54 degrees). Fortunately, we did not have to feel the water other than getting in and out of the raft. The scenery was beautiful, but saw no wildlife. Josh was an excellent guide who provided us multiple pieces of information and history during our 2-hour relaxing float. The water level was relatively low and therefore the current was very mild--very enjoyable! Thank you Josh for a great morning! We recommend this trip to anyone looking for a different way to enjoy the beauties of Glacier National Park!
This was an amazing adventure! Our family has white water rafted 3-4 times and this was the best so far. Thomas, our guide was experienced and very fun. He made sure we all had fun and were safe. If ever back in this part of the country we will definitely go back and do this one again!
We loved it and we truly recommend it. Beautiful nature and Frank is amazing guide. Two and a half hours flew by.
