Deze tour laat je de Thaise hoofdstad ervaren en geeft je een unieke indruk van de stad. We bezoeken enkele van de beroemdste plekken in Bangkok. Je wordt begeleid door een lokale gids die gek is op zijn/haar land en je echt alles wil uitleggen over Bangkok, de Thaise cultuur en geschiedenis! **Aangezien u het Koninklijk Paleis en belangrijke boeddhistische tempels bezoekt, wordt van u verwacht dat u zich respectvol kleedt. Je moet een lange broek dragen en je schouders bedekt hebben, anders wordt je de toegang geweigerd. Draag dichte schoenen, slippers en sandalen zijn niet toegestaan.**

Het glinsterende Grand Palace in Bangkok is een architectonisch wonder dat ooit de thuisbasis was van de koningen van de Chakri-dynastie.
Wat Pho is een van de oudste tempels in de Thaise hoofdstad. Het is ook een van de grootste tempelcomplexen in Bangkok en heeft de grootste collectie Boeddhabeelden in Thailand. Wat Pho handhaaft de titel als het eerste centrum voor openbaar onderwijs van het land, gespecialiseerd in religie, wetenschap en literatuur. De meeste tentoongestelde Boeddhabeelden werden in opdracht van koning Rama I naar Wat Pho gebracht vanuit verlaten tempels in Ayutthaya en Sukhothai.
Een verblijf in de Thaise hoofdstad is niet compleet zonder een bezoek aan Wat Arun, de Tempel van de Dageraad, een van de beroemdste bezienswaardigheden van Bangkok.

- Vergeet niet dat het Grand Palace en de tempels heilige plaatsen zijn en dat je je passend moet kleden. Schouders en enkels dienen bedekt te zijn (zowel voor mannen als vrouwen; mouwloos shirt met sjaalbedekking is ook niet toegestaan). Geen shorts, leggings, gescheurde jeans, strakke broeken, slippers (flipflops), of onthullende topjes, anders mag je niet naar binnen.
- Annuleringen die minimaal 24 uur voor aanvang van de tour worden gemaakt, komen in aanmerking voor volledige restitutie. Voor annuleringen die minder dan 24 uur van tevoren worden gemaakt of in geval van no-show, wordt geen restitutie verleend.
- Onze tours werken met regen of zonneschijn, omdat tropische regenbuien in Thailand meestal niet lang duren. Als het hard regent, proberen we beschutting te zoeken en gaan we door zodra het weer verbetert. Tijdens het regenseizoen is het een goed idee om een regenjas of poncho mee te nemen. Houd er rekening mee dat annuleringen vanwege het weer niet in aanmerking komen voor restitutie.
