Tijdens een fietstocht van een halve dag zul je genieten van de unieke ervaring van fietsen door een wijnland en een bezoek aan een lokale wijnmakerij, terwijl je toch vroeg genoeg klaar bent om andere plannen voor je middag te maken! Je sluit je aan bij een kleine groep onder leiding van een lokale, deskundige gids die je inzicht in de geschiedenis van de vallei en het romantische proces van wijnstok tot fles zal vergroten. Deze tour omvat één stop bij een lokale wijnmakerij (proeverijkosten niet inbegrepen) Elektrische fietsen maken deze tour leuk voor iedereen die kan fietsen. Casual motorrijders zullen merken dat ze zonder problemen langere afstanden kunnen rijden en heuvels op kunnen cruisen. En ervaren rijders die op meer beweging hopen, kunnen het niveau van de trapondersteuning verlagen of helemaal uitschakelen om meer te trainen. Nadat je fietstocht in Yountville is afgelopen, mag je je fietsen houden om op eigen gelegenheid verder te verkennen. Uw gids zal u graag favoriete weggetjes aanbevelen om te verkennen.

Na het passen en oriënteren van de fiets (30 minuten), leidt uw gids u op een mooie rit langs de wijngaarden. Rondleidingen worden in een ongedwongen tempo geleid. De nadruk ligt op genieten van het landschap en het ontdekken van een lokale wijnmakerij onderweg. Het bezoek aan de wijnmakerij duurt ongeveer 75 minuten met voldoende tijd om uw proeverijgastheer te betrekken en meer te weten te komen over de wijnbereidingsstijlen en landbouwpraktijken. Kosten voor wijnproeverijen zijn niet inbegrepen; u betaalt tijdens uw bezoek rechtstreeks bij de wijnmakerijen proefkosten (bij een minimale aankoop kan worden afgezien van kosten). Nadat je tour in Yountville is afgelopen, mag je je elektrische fietsen houden om zelf verder te verkennen. Uw gids zal u graag favoriete weggetjes aanbevelen om te verkennen.
Monticello Vineyards is eigendom van en wordt beheerd door drie generaties van de familie Corley. Patriarch Jay Corley kwam in 1969 naar Napa Valley op zoek naar land om een wijngaard te planten. Hij koos een perceel in het zuidelijke uiteinde van Napa Valley om de eerste wijnstokken voor Monticello Vineyards te planten. Vijftig jaar later beheert de familie Corley vijf verschillende wijngaarden in de Napa Valley. Zonen Kevin, Chris en Stephen beheren de wijnmakerij. Een derde generatie Corleys studeert nu af en begint een actieve rol te spelen in het familiebedrijf. Specifieke bezoeken aan een wijnmakerij kunnen worden gewijzigd vanwege beschikbaarheid. The guide was enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable. The winery visited Hagafen was enjoyable and we purchased quality wine. The only downside is there were a lot of cars on this route compared to other wine tours I have rode with in different wine countries (Santa Ynez and Sonoma).

Our tour was informative and fun. The weather was perfect and the size of the group was just right. The wine tasting was located at a beautiful and charming winery and the wines were fabulous. We learned a lot and enjoyed each other’s company. Also, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention our guide, Michelle. She was fun and knowledgeable and easy going. Such a great way to see the Napa valley.

The electric bike tour with wine tasting was the absolute highlight of our 3 day trip to Napa! Sterling was a fantastic guide. He had our bikes prepared when we arrived, was knowledgeable and entertaining, and perfectly unobtrusive when we wanted to catch up on our own. Highly recommend.

This bike tour was just okay. Sadly the person who ran it was not attentive to the riders on the tour. He was very informative on aspects of the wine industry, the area, and the local sites. The route taken could have been better.

It was just a real nice leisurely ride through town and out to see some of the vineyards. Ended up at Monticello winery where we tasted wind and hung out for a while. Michelle our tour guide was great. She was so nice. Only 7 people were in our group. It was a lot of fun and relaxing.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary, and took the half day wine tour with John. He was a Terrific tour guide. We loved the winery, so much so, that we bought 6 bottles to take home. The other nice thing the tour company did, was deliver a bottle we purchased, back to the bike rental co. So that we could enjoy it while still in Napa. A great touch! The bikes were in great shape, and they did a great job of giving instructions. We loved the tour so much that we rented bikes on our own, another day, and they gave us a discount for being a repeat customer. Great customer service!!

The two guys we met at the shop were super nice and helpful, our guide was ok, but just seemed to have a personality clash with me and my wife. He warmed up around the time he dropped us in the middle of nowhere. We did a half day tour and the other couple did a whole day so after only one wine tasting he said that’s it, just go done this road a mile and turn right and in about 2 miles you’ll be back in town. I’m lucky I had gps on my phone. I was expecting more.
We are so disappointed to see this, Kimbo. We are so sorry your tour experience fell short. This is not on par with experience we aim to deliver. On days when we host Half-Day and Full-Day Tour guests together, we take care to design the route so that the guide can ride Half-Day guests back to the shop while their Full-Day guests are doing their second wine tasting. The only reason guests should ever be left to ride back on their own is if they express that desire to their guide. What a fun time! Our guide Don was wonderful and very accommodating for our large group. The scenery was gorgeous and lots of fun! A must do in Napa!

Really nice bike ride. Scenery was lovely. Hoopes vineyard was very quaint and wine was good. Proprietor Emmanual was very engaging and knowledgeable. We had a great time.
