Je zult een hele dag verrukt zijn door de buitengewone schoonheid van de meest interessante plaatsen in het oosten van Sicilië, met een tour om Taormina, Castelmola, Isola Bella en Messina te ontdekken, waar je prachtige panoramische mediterrane landschappen kunt bewonderen en fotograferen... Tijdens de rondleiding kunt u typisch Siciliaanse producten proeven. De service zal worden uitgevoerd aan boord van nieuwe en comfortabele Mercedes-voertuigen, die vakkundig zullen worden bestuurd door chauffeurs die zorgvuldig zijn geselecteerd op hun competentie, imago en charisma. Het is het meest grandioze monument dat Taormina kenmerkt. Het is het op één na grootste klassieke theater van Sicilië (het eerste is dat van Syracuse). Momenteel worden er grote culturele evenementen gehouden in het Grieks-Romeinse Theater, die een groot publiek trekken. Juist om deze reden is het oude theater het symbool van Taormina in de wereld geworden.
Piazza IX Aprile in Taormina is een van de meest schilderachtige en luchtige. Direct aan de linkerkant staat de prachtige gevel van de kerk van San Giuseppe, bovenaan een dubbele trap. Aan de rechterkant biedt het plein een groot panoramisch uitzicht. Het plein wordt verlevendigd door enkele cafés waar u aan de buitentafels kunt zitten en kunt genieten van het architecturale landschap.
Palazzo Corvaja lijkt een van de meest elegante aristocratische paleizen uit de Siciliaanse middeleeuwen te zijn. Het prachtige hoofdportaal van het paleis wordt gekenmerkt door een zeer lage boog. Het is een van de mooiste portalen uit de zestiende eeuw die de aristocratische paleizen van Taormina sieren. In dit gebouw bevindt zich het Museum voor Kunst en Populaire Tradities.
Gelegen langs de kust van Taormina is Isola Bella, samen met het Grieks-Romeinse theater, het symbool van Taormina geworden. Het eilandje is pittoresk en suggestief en heeft vandaag de dag nog steeds zijn schoonheid en charme behouden.
Op de terugweg naar Messina bezoek je een van de meest bijzondere en spectaculaire plekken van de stad, het Heiligdom van Cristo Re (Christus de Koning), met het prachtige uitzicht vanaf het terras dat uitkijkt over de Straat van Messina, waar je prachtige foto's kunt maken. Ga daarna naar de kathedraal van Messina, waar je de grootste astronomische klok ter wereld kunt bewonderen.

De gids en chauffeur wachten de passagiers op bij het ontmoetingspunt, in het havengebied voor Uitgangspoort 5, met een vel met de volledige naam van de hoofdreiziger erop. Van daaruit vertrek je met je voertuig naar de eerste bestemming van de uitgestippelde route, Taormina, op ongeveer 40 minuten van de cruisehaven van Messina en 20 minuten van de cruisehaven van Giardini Naxos via Schisò. We got a wonderfull tour with a nice guide (gazel) and good driver. Good balance between facts &figures and free time to explore.. the guide gave lots of tips what and where to taste the specialities.. Only thing i didn't like was the adaptation of the start of the tour the night before. I just saw by accident the change last minute.. For the rest we had a wonderfull day!

Awesome day trip to from cruise port Taormina Castelmola and isolabella. Unbelievable views and beaches. Our driver Giovanni (sp?) recommended a beautiful restaurant / beach club. Singing and dancing 💃 🤩 GREAT food and swimming in crystal water at the front. Shopping and Ancient Greek theatre in Taormina town also great. isola Bella busy but like a postcard. Private driver costs obviously, but worth it to fit in so much in the day.

The best tour of all, the attention and Service were amazing, we went to beautiful places with views towards the island and the whole sea.Daniel was our driver and we had a great time, spoke good Spanish, explained everything we asked and the attention was perfect. We passed through Taormina where we bought some things, then went to Castelmola which has a viewpoint at the top of the mountain. Then we went to a church inside a cave which was beautiful, and then we went to lunch at a restaurant that Daniele did not recommend, it was very delicious the food and the amazing view in the whole sea.Lastly we went to Messina Cathedral and ended up on the cruise. It was amazing the experience, at a fair and affordable price, definitely an experience we would do again.

This tour allowed us to see the best of the area without any stress. Our guide Daniele was friendly and gave us lots of useful tips about Taormina, which is wonderful. Then pure relaxation at Isola Bella, a magical place for swimming and sunbathing. We were a group and felt super comfortable the whole time. A 5-star experience for those traveling with friends!

Bruno was an excellent guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The van was perfect with two facing back seats filled with waters. He took us all around Taormina and castleoma. He brought us to a pizza lunch per our request right on the beach. He allowed us all the time we wanted and stopped for many pictures. When he realized we had extra time he took us to a beautiful church to finish off the perfect day! This was it favorite day of our 10 day cruise.
