My Khe Beach in Da Nang, Vietnam, staat bekend om zijn verbluffende natuurlijke schoonheid en kristalheldere water. Het strekt zich uit over ongeveer 20 kilometer langs de kustlijn en biedt zacht wit zand en een geleidelijke helling in de oceaan, waardoor het ideaal is om te zwemmen en zonnebaden. Het strand staat bekend om zijn kalme golven, waardoor het geschikt is voor een scala aan wateractiviteiten, waaronder surfen, paddleboarden en kajakken. Het gebied rond het strand is goed ontwikkeld, met talloze hotels, resorts, restaurants en cafés, die een mix van lokale en internationale gerechten bieden. Het strand is ook een geweldige plek om de zonsopgang te bekijken en te genieten van een schilderachtig uitzicht op het Son Tra-schiereiland en de Marble Mountains. My Khe Beach is erkend als een van de mooiste stranden in Vietnam en Zuidoost-Azië en trekt elk jaar een groot aantal bezoekers. Het is een uitstekende bestemming voor degenen die willen ontspannen, willen genieten van watersporten of de culturele attracties van Da Nang en de omliggende gebieden willen verkennen.
Son Tra Peninsula, ook bekend als Monkey Mountain. Bewonder de prachtige uitzichten over de kust, ongerepte bossen en ontmoet de speelse groepen apen die dit schiereiland hun thuis noemen. Bezoek de iconische Linh Ung Pagoda, een serene boeddhistische tempel met een gigantisch Lady Buddha-beeld.
Gespen vast en bereid je voor om versteld te staan als we de kronkelende bergwegen beklimmen, langs weelderig groen, prachtige kliffen en adembenemende vergezichten bij elke bocht. Zorg dat je je camera paraat hebt om de adembenemende panoramische uitzichten op de kustlijn en de omliggende bergen vast te leggen.
We verlaten Lap A Lagoon en rijden dieper een dorp in aan de voet van de Bach Ma Mountains, waar we het dagelijkse leven van de boeren blijven observeren. Daarna bereiken we de koele Suoi Mo-stroom om te zwemmen en te genieten van de natuur te midden van het bergachtige bos.
Terwijl we afdalen van de Hai Van Pass, komen we aan bij Lang Co Bay, een pittoresk en vredig vissersdorpje. Neem even de tijd om het prachtige landschap in u op te nemen en geniet van een heerlijke lunch met zeevruchten in een lokaal restaurant. Smul van verse zeevruchtendelicatessen en ervaar de lokale keuken.
De lagune is ook een belangrijke plek voor lokale oesterkwekerijen. Bezoekers kunnen vaak drijvende oesterkwekerijen op het water zien en genieten van verse, heerlijke zeevruchten in nabijgelegen lokale restaurants. De oesters van Lap An Lagoon worden in de regio als een delicatesse beschouwd.
Tam Giang Lagoon, gelegen in centraal Vietnam nabij de stad Huế, is het grootste lagunesysteem in Zuidoost-Azië, met een lengte van meer dan 70 km. Het beschikt over een verbluffende mix van zoetwater- en zoutwaterecosystemen, de thuisbasis van diverse zeedieren en vogelsoorten. De lagune staat bekend om zijn serene schoonheid, vooral bij zonsopgang en zonsondergang, met vissers die traditionele boten besturen en viskwekerijen die het water bezaaien. De unieke omgeving ondersteunt lokale gemeenschappen die afhankelijk zijn van visserij en aquacultuur voor hun levensonderhoud.

We had an amazing time on this motorbike tour! The ride took us through some absolutely stunning scenery with incredible views along the way. One of the highlights was visiting a beautiful waterfall where we got to swim, it was such a refreshing and unforgettable experience. The crew was fantastic from start to finish. We booked our trip from Hoi An to Hue via our hotel ‘Under the Coconut Tree Homestay’. And boy, are we happy they booked Yo! It was a really nice drive with extra stops at marble mountain, Monkey Island, Hai Van Pass, a jungle pool, and even an awesome sea-side lunchspot! All included in the price! We truly could enjoy every beautiful landscape and even received additional information about the things we saw which felt like an extra luxury that we got the ‘local viewpoint’. If you want an alternative route to Hue, stop considering going by bus or going by train, go for the motor ride with Yo!

This was the best experience I had in Vietnam, I’d even say it was more enjoyable than the Ha Giang loop. Our group had a fantastic time, we travelled from Danang to Hue and saw the most amazing scenery. We stopped at a few places along the way and got to see key attractions and even swim in a freshwater hole. The drivers were great, very comfortable motorbikes and knew how to drive! This was my first time on the back of a motorcycle and I felt very safe. Would recommend booking with this company - I’d do it again in a heart beat with this tour group, was money well spent

An amazing trip with Yo and Cuong! They were super fun, the views were amazing and we had a brilliant time. An amazing way to travel from Da Nang to Hue! Spend the day being driven by a group of nice guys through some of the most amazing coastal landscapes I have seen. Really good communication in english over WhatsApp beforehand and on the day with the drivers regularly checking in to see if the speed was okay and if you were enjoying yourself. What a fantastic way to travel from Hoi An to Hue! Joe and his colleague made us feel safe throughout the journey and we had regular stops to stretch our legs. It was amazing to travel via the Hai Van pass; seeing sights such as Marble village, Son Tra Peninsula, Lang Co Bay, Lap A Lagoon and Suoi Mo Stream. We truly felt immersed within the Vietnamese culture, travelling by the rice paddy fields and fishing villages. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Vietnam 😊

This was a wonderful tour! My guide, Nguyen aka "Yo" was great. He brought me to the Marble Mountain where I had time to explore, climb around, and visit various statues, shrines, and altars. We also took the moto (bike) all the way to the top of Hai Van pass where you are treated to stunning views of both Da Nang and Hue! We eventually dropped down into Hue for a delicious meal right on the beach - I ordered fish and seafood, of course. There were several other delightful stops on the way, including a little mountain side cafe where I enjoyed a coffee in a hammock with a beautiful vista before returning to Hoi An. This was a wonderful day and I highly recommend it!
