Austin zit vol met enge verhalen (en dan hebben we het niet alleen over de huurprijzen of het verkeer) Ga met ons mee op deze heerlijk griezelige, 18+ volwassenen-only, begeleide wandelspooktour die enkele van de meest spookachtige locaties in het centrum van Austin benadrukt! We vertellen verhalen over andere dingen die in de nacht gaan hobbelen, van Austins eerste seriemoordenaar tot urban legends en zelfs wat cultactiviteiten. De tour is een “boo-tique” ervaring waarbij we onze storytelling serieus nemen, maar onszelf niet! We streven ernaar om boeiende spooktochten te bieden die de geesten die we bespreken eren zonder ze te verzanden in lange historische kanten die je zeker zult vergeten. (We houden ook van een goede woordspeling...) Let op: Deze tour is geen diepe duik in de stadsgeschiedenis van Austin en is GEEN paranormaal onderzoek. Het enige gebouw waar we naar binnen gaan is het Driskill Hotel als het beschikbaar is. Als je een spook in een raam ziet of een onverklaarbare ervaring hebt, is dat een kers op de taart! We zijn gewoon leveranciers van spookverhalen.

We beginnen onze tour buiten het prachtige Texas State Capitol. We bespreken de geesten die nog steeds in de schaduw van de historische zalen van het gebouw spoken en een paar stadslegendes die Austin raar houden.
Van de geesten uit het verleden van Texanen tot spookpaarden en griezelige feesten, we stoppen voor het landhuis van de gouverneur waar je een snelle foto kunt maken en kunt leren over de vele mysterieuze gebeurtenissen in het gebouw die zich tot op de dag van vandaag voordoen. Als we naar onze volgende plek gaan, praten we met seriemoordenaars in de hoofdstad.
Een dame in het wit, ontbrekende snoeprepen en spookachtige projectoren, een jongen die van goochelaars houdt... allemaal passende geesten voor een legendarisch theater.
Terwijl we naar onze eindbestemming gaan, zullen we een korte geschiedenis behandelen van wat ooit het hoogste gebouw in Austin moest zijn (nu lachwekkend), naast het bespreken van een aantal Texaanse stadslegendes zoals de Donkey Lady. We bespreken ook enkele van de sekten die Austin thuis noemden in vervlogen tijden... (en misschien zelfs tot op de dag van vandaag?)
Het Driskill Hotel is niet alleen een prachtig gebouw in het hart van de binnenstad, het is ook een van de meest spookachtige hotels in de staat. We behandelen hier de beroemdste geesten van Austin; van afgedankte bruiden tot kleine meisjes, portretten die je elke beweging lijken te volgen, liften met chagrijnige spookmannen en meer, we bewaren het beste voor het laatst en pakken onze laatste Ha Ha Ha Haunted punch in met de finale van onze tour! Opmerking : We gaan niet naar binnen in de Driskill.

We went on a tour with Celia and we just had the absolute best time! She was so fun and funny and also very informative. The length of the walking wasn’t too bad and she accommodated stopping near benches for my mom to be able to sit as well. She was respectful of the victims of crimes she shared about and also differentiated when she was telling a story about something verifiable versus just lore which was neat! 10/10 recommend! We took this tour 3 days ago and we’re still talking about how much we liked it and her!

Bring your walking shoes and use the restroom ahead of time. Dress accordingly to weather and be prepared for a uphill incline

Celia was our guide and did an amazing job. I generally don't care for guided tours because they feel so canned and scripted. Celia is not that kind of guide. She covers relevant facts to set the stage, but then the magic is in the details and stories she shares. Her passion for Austin is on full display and she has gone above and beyond by doing additional research on the backstories of the people. The result is a truly unique and informative experience, and her sense of humor is the cherry on top.
