Begeleide wandeltocht door het stadscentrum van Wenen Hoogtepunten
Beschrijving
Ervaar een twee uur durende begeleide wandeltocht langs de beroemdste bezienswaardigheden van Wenen. Begin bij de Minoritenkerk om het prachtige Laatste Avondmaal-mozaïek te zien en verken vervolgens Michaelerplatz, Hofburg, Heldenplatz en de Spaanse Rijschool. We bezoeken ook de Albertina en de Weense Staatsopera, met als afsluiting de Stephansdom. Houd er rekening mee dat bezoeken aan het interieur niet zijn inbegrepen.

Je ontmoet hier je gids, waar je meer te weten komt over de geschiedenis van de Minoritenkerk.
Hier leert u over de rijke geschiedenis van Heldenplatz. Naast de geschiedenis van Heldenplatz kunt u ook het prachtige Hofburgpaleis, de Oostenrijkse Nationale Bibliotheek en het paardenstandbeeld van prins Eugene van Savoye verkennen.
Nadat u de geschiedenis van de Heldenplatz hebt geleerd, kunt u tijdens onze rondleiding de indrukwekkende gevel van het Hofburgpaleis bewonderen, die zich uitsluitend op de buitenkant richt en geen toegang tot het paleis omvat.
Als u op weg bent naar de Albertina, komt u ook langs de gerenommeerde Spaanse Rijschool.
Bij de Albertina richt uw tour zich op een bezoek aan de buitenkant, waardoor u de prachtige architectuur van het museum kunt bewonderen en de historische betekenis van buitenaf kunt waarderen.
Tijdens de tour nemen we even de tijd om de prachtige buitenkant van de Weense Staatsopera te waarderen, waar u een inzichtelijke uitleg krijgt over de rijke geschiedenis en culturele betekenis.
We wandelen naar de Stephansdom, waar u tijdens een bezoek aan de buitenkant meer te weten komt over de fascinerende geschiedenis, aangezien de toegang tot de kathedraal niet is inbegrepen; dit is waar onze tour eindigt.

We had a wonderful tour of Vienna's historic centre with Nora. She was knowledgeable, funny, charming and very engaging. Her English was impeccable. She was also extremely thoughtful - ensuring we avoided the very strong sunshine wherever possible and kept topped-up with water. At the end of the tour she directed us to an excellent restaurant. Our tour guide, Michael was amazing. It was a hot day but he made sure we stayed in the shade and had water. His insight was interesting and the pace of the tour was perfect.
