“O, paleis van vreugde!” O gouden hal! Met jou heb ik mijn verlangens vervuld. Was dat maar alles wat ik in mijn koninkrijk bezat, "Ik zou niets anders willen missen." Zo beschreef Al-Muqtádir, koning van de Taifa van Saraqusta, zijn nieuw gebouwde buitenverblijf, het Aljafería-paleis. Omdat het in de 16e eeuw werd gebouwd. IX. Het heeft verschillende eigenaren en functies gehad, zoals paleis van de Katholieke Monarchen, rechtbank en gevangenis van het Heilige Officie of militaire kazerne, tot de huidige functie als zetel van de rechtbanken van Aragon. Dit paleis is een essentieel voorbeeld van Spaans-islamitische kunst en is door UNESCO uitgeroepen tot werelderfgoed binnen het complex "Mudejar-architectuur van Aragon". Tijdens dit bezoek bekijken we alle voor het publiek toegankelijke ruimtes en dompelen we ons erin onder dankzij digitale reconstructies, foto's, geluiden en geuren die ons door de eeuwen heen voeren. the guide only speaks Spanish, not possible to have another, they should implement audio guides in several languages. very magnificent place all the same

El palacio de la Aljafería cuenta con una app en otros idiomas así como explicaciones en radio guía pero ese es un servicio completamente diferente al nuestro ¡Un saludo!
The palace is very beautiful and the history very interesting. Our tour guide was very helpful. We took the tour in Spanish, but she took time to give us a synopsis in English. I lost a hearing aid there and she was extremely helpful in my being able to retrieve it. Thankfully a guard found it and turned it in. I highly recommend the tour, but prebook for a different language!

Wonderful guided tour we took with Blanca to the Aljafería, very professional, enjoyable, approachable, and kind. We arrived a little late and even so she allowed us to join the group and when the tour ended she stayed just with us to explain the part of the visit that we had missed. Tickets available in ticket office. The failure of online tickets purchase is not correct. I bought the guided tour with only Spanish available at more than double the price is a waste of time and money as we don'tunderstand. With AI, take a photo and ask Gemini give us good guidance already. The palace is very interesting and beautiful, definitely worth a visit, especially as tickets is just few Euros.
