It is fantastic to discover daily life from thousands of years ago. The whole place is impressive, especially the theater; it is incredible!
Great highlight tour seeing the forum, domes and theme. Going at 4pm does mean you miss the crowds It is very very warm in August!
We had a great experience with our guide, Sergio. It was easy to understand and follow he’s lead. He told us many interesting facts about Pompeii and he enthusiastically answered questions in a way that you could notice that he loved his work. We were so glad that we booked wine tasting. We had a really nice time at the restaurant and the food and wine tasted delicious! Sergio gave us a little bonus tour on the way to the restaurant. Again it showed how much loves his work. We are so grateful.
Clear and concise tour, the guide gave us the keys to the site to be able to continue the visit on our own, plan for the day on site. No shade, take a cap, a water bottle, and something to eat.
Our guide was very knowledgeable about Pompeii and offered great incites to our itinerary. He did an excellent job of avoiding crowds and pointing out helpful areas. Very pleased with the tour.
Our guided tour of Pompeii with Sergio through Askos Tours was fabulous. As an archaeologist, he was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to properly explain the history behind key sites. He brought us to some recently excavated locations that added a special, behind-the-scenes feel to the visit, and rounded out the day with a wine tasting at Chora. A guided tour through Pompeii is crucial!! Our train was very delayed getting to Pompeii and we missed our scheduled tour. Our guide graciously got us into a later tour. We appreciated the flexibility and highly recommend Viator to all our friends. Pompeii was awesome - thank you!!

Wonderful your with an expert guide. I didn’t love the type of audio earpieces they used compared to other excursions I’ve been on but that’s just a minor issue. I would recommended that they move to the more traditional headphone connection in the future.
