Het concentratiekamp Auschwitz-Birkenau (1941-1945) staat over de hele wereld bekend als een symbool van genocide en terreur van de nazi's. It was a great experience and the guide was very helpful, but there was a few "empty moments", for example: the visit in Auschwitz lasted 1 hour, but the walk from the entrance to the end of the camp lasted 5 minutes and it was in silence, so it was 5+5 (round trip of course) in total silence (1/6 of the total visit) and it wasn't the only "empty moments". It wouldn't be a problem, if only it wasn't cost so much. It was a great experience, but too expensive.

The tour was very well organized. The pickup, by a very pleasant taxi driver, was punctual. The bus driver was also very friendly. A competent lady took over the tour for us. However, the pace of the tour was very, very fast, so we had very little time to look at the exhibitions. That was a shame.

The tour itself was amazing, and our English-speaking tour guide was extremely informative and knowledgeable. However, the pickup company changed our pickup time to 5:50am just two days before the tour, moving it four hours earlier than originally planned. This left us with no realistic opportunity to reschedule or make alternative arrangements. I’ve since heard that last-minute pickup time changes like this are fairly common, which is disappointing. Overall, the tour was excellent, but the pickup arrangements were frustrating and could have been communicated much earlier.

Punctual pickup near our hotel, a shopping center, and a station, but there are several pickup points; they keep you informed via the app and WhatsApp. First thing in the morning, so we can take advantage of the rest of the day. Very well organized, and on all trips, they make sure that we are all on the bus. Phillip was very attentive and helped us and indicated how to carry out the visits at all times. You can bring a small backpack, even if the messages say otherwise. And there is also a restaurant or vending machines if you need them.

Our trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau was brilliant. The whole process from point of booking to getting dropped back off in krakow was faultless. Our guide Mickey on the bus was brilliant. His communication and making sure we all knew where to go and what times was spot on. I definitely recommend doing a guided tour on the trip as listening to the guide on headphones while walking around the sites made it even more immersive and the information they give is so detailed and Informative which brings another level to the experience of the trip. Highly rated trip with a highly rated company and an experience I recommend people should do.
