Onze reis naar Salt Mine begint met het ophalen van een eerder bepaalde plaats in Krakau vanuit een hotel of appartement. De reis van Krakau naar Wieliczka duurt ongeveer 40 minuten. Informatie over uw ophaaltijd krijgt u één dag voor de reis.
Een bezoek aan de Wieliczka-zoutmijn duurt 3 uur. Voordat je hem bezoekt, ontvang je een koptelefoon om de gids beter te horen. De hele route is minder dan 3 km en er zijn meer dan 800 trappen te beklimmen. Ze worden echter in batches geslagen. Terug naar boven is de lift.
Na het voltooien van de tour, zal de chauffeur u naar uw hotel / hostel / appartement in Krakau brengen

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
-De ophaaltijd is variabel, afhankelijk van waar u verblijft. Het kan 40 minuten later of eerder zijn dan de tijd die u kiest. - Sommige hotels bevinden zich in afgesloten voertuigzones. Dan zal het ophalen van de dichtstbijzijnde mogelijke plaats zijn. - Je wordt opgehaald door een minibus met maximaal 8 zitplaatsen.

Excellent tour using welcomeinKrakow pre pick up info superb driver Mathius excellent and couldn't have done more. Slight downside Mine tour rushed would have liked another 20/30 minutes promised a 15 minute break in mine which was reduced to 6 on arrival at cafe toilets. This is a mine issue not the operator.
Brilliant day made so much better with excellent organisation and communication from the team at Welcome in Cracow. Cannot recommend the Salt Mines tour highly enough. A fascinating half-day tour.
It was as we expected and our guide was very polite and willing to ask any questions we had.
The driver picked us up right from our rental apartment. The driver explained all well in advance. The tour itself was very well organised. There is really a lot of walking inside the mine (ca 3,5 km). Driver also waited us on the exit and toon us to Krakow where we wanted.

Amazing salt mine with many salt statue and large cathedral at bottom. Caution, over 800 steps to the bottom, but well worth it.

Excellent trip. Well organised. The driver Konrad was on time, helpful and very friendly. The tour guide in the mine was called Isabella. She was fantastic, her in depth knowledge of the mines was astonishing plus she had a wicked sense of humour and that made the visit even better. My wife and I loved the tour it was well worthwhile.

Really amazing tour with a great guide. Definately need comfy walking shoes/trainers. Lots of stairs and walking. Was absolutely shattered after but well worth it. I have hearing aids so they had special earphones so that was excellent. Pick up from hotel was on time and great communication via watsap. Highly recommend this trip.

Could not fault the trip out. Exacticlty as is says. Never done anything like this before but really so simple to do. They communicated everything needed to make the trip as smooth as possible both at booking, beforehand and on the day. Driver right on time on collection time, and dropped us back having to wait for us on the return trip along with others in the bus, due to a delay getting us completed on the tour inside the mine. Really good value for money and could not ask for anything more

Worth seeing with some, but not unreasonably many, steps to go. Dry. For our part, the audio set did not work, but it went well anyway.
