Tijdens deze gematigde fietstocht rijden we ongeveer 24 km door de pittoreske Dry Creek Valley, de thuisbasis van de stad Healdsburg. Terwijl je door het platteland fietst, zal je lokale, professionele gids je vertellen over de geschiedenis van het gebied, je meenemen naar kleine wijnmakerijen voor proeverijen en een lunch bereiden. Een lokale favoriet en misschien wel het beste gebied voor fietstochten overal in wijnland! Ontdek de schoonheid en rust van deze legendarische wijnstreken. Onze bekroonde gidsen nemen je mee naar al onze favoriete plekken, bereiden een smakelijke picknick spread en nemen je mee naar de wijngaarden voor onze "Grapes 101". We reizen 10 tot 16 mijl en bezoeken 3 wijnhuizen tijdens deze tour door de Dry Creek Valley. Vasthouden aan de rustige West Dry Creek Rd, deze rit is eenvoudig en leuk voor elk niveau van fietser met kleine glooiende heuvels en gladde wegen. We ontmoeten elkaar voor een fietsmontage- en veiligheidsoverzicht om 10:00 uur, de eerste stop van de wijnmakerij om 11:00 uur, de tweede halte met lunch om 12:00 uur en de derde halte om 14:00 uur, en komen rond 15:30 uur terug p.m. Je zult deze Healdsburg-fietstocht geweldig vinden!

Highly recommend this tour! The e-bike is a great way to go; the country roads were rolling and the “ride” of the bike excellent. As an avid cyclist, wasn’t so sure at the outset, but I was glad I chose one. Gwen, our guide, was great! She provided local context and is very knowledgeable and engaging. Thoroughly enjoyed our vineyard stops, the vibe was chill, and our hosts were fabulous. Take this trip!
We had a fantastic day biking to 2 wineries in area. Our guide Steve was wonderful and made sure we always had whatever we needed and was very attentive to detail. The wineries we went to were beautiful and we never felt rushed. It was the perfect amount of biking where you felt like you got your legs moving but it was never grueling. Def a favorite day for us!

The bike tour was just what we were looking for. We opted for e-bikes. Quality bikes! Best way to take in all the areas sites and smells! Gwen was a fun host. She answered many questions for us but also was respectful to the sommeliers. We went to 2 wineries….Quivira and Mill Creek. LOVED QUIVIRA! We had super yummy sandwiches at Mill Creek as well, included in the cost of the bike tour. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Healdsburg area! LOVED IT!

Calistoga bike and wine tour was great! It’s perfect for the very occasional cyclist. The excursion is the right amount of time. We loved the personal attention at the wineries. Guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Lunch was good especially the cookies. Would do it again!

Had an awesome time. The first guided day was spectacular and enjoyed the winery stops. The other two self guided routes were tailored perfectly to our riding. Beautiful countryside, and the hotel accommodations were perfect. Gateway Adventures knows their stuff and their professional staff could not have been more friendly and welcome.

Randy and Preston at GetAway Adventures organized a 6 day, self-guided tour through wine country and I am happy to give them 5 stars. The service and assistance they provided are what made our experience truly great. While some of us rented biked from GetAway, I brought my own bike - and Max the mechanic was super friendly and helpful in preparing my bike for the trip. They are a 'family-run' business in the best sense of the phrase. I will definitely book with them again.

All you want for an amazing day!! Randy was our guide/owner/party-maker, the bikes were impeccably maintained, Holly, his asst, was super hospitable… and we were in wine country, with amazing views, perfect weather and great wineries. But why a bike vs a van or a chauffeur? Well - because you are “fully immersed in the experience”. Feel the micro-climates as you pedal, smell the changes in the soil and flora, and then have the freedom to just stop and appreciate the moment - we are in wine country and it’s beautiful …whooooot!!! To top it all off, my wife was celebrating her 50th. Lunch was extra special with a cake, wines (of course) and laughter. Thank you Randy. Appreciate you and the team. A very memorable and a exceptional experience.

Ride was easy and picturesque. E-bikes were new and easy to use. Winery experiences were personalized, fun and interesting. The wines were fantastic! Our guide, Ronno, was informative, interesting and easy going. Highly recommend!
