Rondleiding op e-bikes op het Comomeer
Beschrijving
Tijdens de tour kunt u genieten van het prachtige uitzicht op een glimp van het Comomeer dat u anders niet zou zien als u met de auto of bus zou reizen, gedwongen om door de tunnels van de rijksweg te reizen. Met e-bikes kun je daarentegen grote stukken weg afleggen die uitkijken op de oevers van het meer, waardoor je een prachtig uitzicht hebt. De tour start vanuit Menaggio, een prachtig dorp aan het Comomeer, gemakkelijk bereikbaar met de auto of het openbaar vervoer, van waaruit het mogelijk is om het prachtige Bellagio aan de overkant van het meer te zien. Na deze ontspannende reis langs de oevers van het meer is het mogelijk om te genieten van de stranden van Dongo, Gravedona of Domaso en als het seizoen en de temperaturen het toelaten, kunt u een duik nemen in de wateren van het Comomeer om uzelf op te frissen. Na de pauze is er de mogelijkheid om te lunchen in een van de karakteristieke restaurants langs de weg richting Garzeno. We wachten op je voor een rondleiding vol emoties en die je een mooie herinnering aan ons geliefde meer kan nalaten.

Menaggio is het startpunt van de tour. Op het aangegeven ontmoetingspunt zal Dante aanwezig zijn, die u zal verwelkomen en zal beginnen met het uitdelen van de uitrusting (helmen, hangsloten, verlichting) en het afleveren van hun e-bike aan elke persoon, om hen te helpen de opstelling te configureren om maak het zo comfortabel mogelijk en zo gemakkelijk mogelijk. Daarna volgt een briefing waarin Dante uitlegt hoe de e-bikes werken en hoe de tour zich zal ontwikkelen. Na de briefing begint de route, waarmee u kunt genieten van het prachtige uitzicht op een glimp van het Comomeer die u anders niet zou zien als u met de auto of bus zou reizen, gedwongen om door de tunnels van de rijksweg te reizen. De route verloopt over een verharde weg die langs het prachtige Comomeer loopt en u laat genieten van een adembenemend uitzicht. Bovendien is het vanuit Menaggio mogelijk om het prachtige Bellagio te zien, precies tegenover gelegen aan de overkant van het meer.
Dongo is het aankomstpunt van de tour, het is een prachtig dorp gelegen bovenop het Comomeer, waar het zijn maximale breedte bereikt en vanwaar het mogelijk is om de majestueuze bergen rond het Comomeer te zien. Na deze ontspannende reis is het mogelijk om te genieten van de stranden van Dongo, Gravedona of Domaso en als het seizoen en de temperaturen het toelaten, kunt u duiken om af te koelen in de wateren van het Comomeer. Na de pauze is er gelegenheid om te lunchen in een van de karakteristieke restaurants aan de weg naar Garzeno, waar u lokale specialiteiten kunt proeven, zoals missoltini (typische vis van het Comomeer), risotto met baars en andere specialiteiten. u kunt genieten van de traditionele Italiaanse keuken (pizza, pasta, enz.) Opmerking: de resterende tijd is voor vervoer heen en terug en de tijd die wordt doorgebracht tussen attracties en vrije tijd.

This e-bike tour was a wonderful experience for our family of four (two of whom seldom bike). Our guide Dante was outstanding. He led us expertly on the paved trails and roads along the lakeside and up to an amazing mountain lunch we would have otherwise never experienced. Bikes and sights were great and Dante made it special.
A great bike ride with Guide/Owner Mr Dante. The bike ride took us up and down the lake, passing the villa used in James Bond's "Casino Royale". The best part was that Dante took us up to a local Italian restaurant WITH A VIEW!! And great food. The ride was approx. 36 km long, but it was on e-bikes, which made it easy. My 12 yrs and 14 yrs old sons were with me. I can highly recommend this with Dante. Top Notch!
Great experience from beginning to end. It was easy to meet up and communicate with Dante, which isn’t always the case when booking other tours around the lake. This tour is the best way to see the North side of the lake, away from tourists and crowds. We rode through parts of the lake that you wouldn’t be able to see traveling by car that were incredibly charming and beautiful. We stopped at famous villas, stunning viewpoints, and we even had the opportunity to take a swim. We continued to ride up the mountain and had a delicious lunch and were able to enjoy an intimate meal and get to know Dante a little more. I truly appreciated experiencing the authentic culture of the Dongo village. We arrived to a warm welcome and he made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. Although we rode through many parks and used bike lanes along the way, there was quite a bit of cycling along the rode. Dante led the way and took great care in making sure we always felt safe. He knows the roads and terrain well and it shows. I am by no means an experienced cyclist and although I felt challenged along the way, I always felt safe. He actually inspired me to get the bikes back out at home and get to exploring!
Dante was a friendly and thoughtful guide. The ~20 mile route was accessible for a family with teens some of whom don't cycle much ordinarily. The e bikes meant we could cope with the 31 Deg C heat OK. Overall, a very enjoyable day. Restaurant mainly did Polenta but you could get pasta if you asked.
This was a lovely tour along the coast of Lake Como. Dante and his wife Patrizia made sure to show us all the beauty up the lake coast and into the hills of lake Como, without any rush, and kept us safe.
Great way to see a lot of things. Dante and his lovely wife were great guides and we certainly saw things we would not have if we'd just rented a bike and winged it. The restaurant he recommended for lunch had one of the best views you could imagine too. Really great way to see the Western coast of the lake. Highly recommended.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Dante, who was the most gracious host. The e-bikes were great fun to use and the perfect way to see beautiful views of the lake and towns leading up to Dongo. Dante took us to a traditional Italian restaurant for lunch with stunning views over the lake - an experience we wouldn't otherwise have had. Thank you Dante for looking after us so well and for all the interesting facts and points of interest along the way. Would highly recommend this tour - a great way to explore Lake Como as a family.
Dante was excellent! The 20 mile E bike ride was not difficult and among the most scenic on the lake front. He retrieved us five minutes after getting off the ferry and promptly fit our bikes. We met the other couple on the tour and we were off! Just a magnificent plethora of gorgeous vistas. relax and stop for pictures if you like.We had a quick stop for antipasto meats, and cheese (you don’t have to go fullbore on lunch) at Grotto restaurant. Start back and stop for a beer in Dongo on the waterfront if you like. Then back to Menaggio. Great trip! Dante speaks English well enough, but it’s not going to be conversations😍 highly recommend and willing to adjust to whatever you’d like to see
A great day on e-bikes up the west coast from Menaggio to Dongo near the top of the lake. Mostly on bike / pedestrian paths all the way to Dongo (more on the roads on return journey) Beautiful scenery & peaceful. Dante was an excellent guide pointing out sights along the way. We had a very nice 'homely' lunch in a great restaurant UP the hill in Dongo - easy on e-bikes. The bikes were great. Take water - can refill en-route. Very good communication with Dante before our ride & very precise meeting point. An excellent day. Thank you 👍😊
We had such an amazing time biking around Lake Como with Dante! He was so kind and patient and let us on a great adventure. Definitely recommend!
