Dit is inderdaad een onvergetelijk avontuur. Een begeleide excursie van een halve dag waarbij we het prachtige Pismo Beach, de serene Bob Jones Trail verkennen en Mulligan's Bar & Grill bezoeken, hoog boven Port San Luis. De uitzichten zijn geweldig en je kunt een lekker hapje en je favoriete drankje kopen. Onze Pedego elektrische fietsen zijn van topklasse en maken het rijden op de heuvels een fluitje van een cent. Terwijl we langs de ruige kustlijn van Californië en met bomen omzoomde paden reizen, stoppen we om het adembenemende landschap in zich op te nemen en een paar selfies en groepsfoto's te maken. Deze rondleiding, die zeker levenslange herinneringen zal creëren, wil je niet missen. Kom dus de zeelucht inademen en geniet van de rit met ons!

We cruisen op onze elektrische fietsen langs de iconische kustlijn van Californië, van Pismo Beach naar Mulligan's in Avila Beach en terug. We rijden langs de Pacifische kust, genieten van een fantastisch uitzicht op de kliffen aan de kust en passeren het charmante stadje Shell Beach. Vervolgens gaan we naar de met bomen omzoomde Bob Jones Trail, waar je een serenade krijgt van de kabbelende San Luis Obispo Creek en een glimp opvangt van inheemse planten en dieren in het wild. Geloof ons, het kustlandschap behoort tot de beste ter wereld! Als we de top van de heuvel bereiken, bereid je dan voor op een spectaculair uitzicht op de haven van San Luis. We stoppen bij Mulligan's waar u uw favoriete hapje en drankje kunt kopen. Misschien zelfs een rondje maïskolven spelen. Het is een geweldige plek voor geweldige foto's. Na onze korte stop gaan we terug naar de iconische pier van Pismo voor wat selfies, en dan terug naar Pedego Electric Bikes in Pismo Beach.
Met een adembenemend uitzicht op de kust zie je prachtige zeevogels over de oceaan vliegen en rusten op nabijgelegen kliffen. Wie weet spot je wel een walvis of dolfijn voorbij zwemmen! Als je het geluk hebt om tussen juni en november op de eerste zondag van de maand met ons op tournee te zijn, kun je het Art in the Park-festival meemaken. Het is een fantastische kans om getuige te zijn van fantastische kunst en cultuur terwijl je geniet van het adembenemende landschap.
South Palisades Park is een charmant buurtpark van zes hectare, gelegen op een klif boven de Stille Oceaan. Mis het 1,6 km lange parcours niet terwijl u geniet van het adembenemende uitzicht en luistert naar de rustgevende geluiden van de golven die op de kliffen beuken. En laten we het weelderige groene gras niet vergeten, dat is absoluut geweldig! Natuurlijk stoppen we even voor een paar foto’s!
Bovenaan de Avila Beach Golfbaan stoppen we bij Mulligan's Bar & Grill, waar u uw favoriete hapje en drankje kunt kopen. Misschien een leuk spelletje maïskolven spelen. Mulligan's biedt een panoramisch uitzicht op de coolste kleine ambachtelijke haven van Californië, de Port San Luis! De oorspronkelijke golfbreker dateert van vóór de jaren 1900. Tegenwoordig is het een absolute hotspot voor recreatief zeilen en vissen. Oh, en begrijp dit: de haven heeft eigenlijk drie pieren! Op één ervan kun je zelfs rijden. Hoe cool is dat? Bovendien is er een pier die de onderzoeks- en onderwijsfaciliteit voor Cal Poly's Centre for Coastal Marine Sciences ondersteunt. Het is een uitzicht dat we niet mogen missen!
Pismo Beach heeft een totaal prachtige, iconische, houten pier. Het is een must-see plek voor elke bezoeker van de centrale kust. We stoppen om een paar selfies te maken voor de beroemde Pismo Beach-letters - ze zorgen voor een volledig Instagram-waardig moment. We zullen een paar minuten besteden aan het kijken naar en genieten van de gezinnen die aankomen en vertrekken van het strand. De sfeer is eclectisch en je wilt het niet missen!

- Let op : Deze tour omvat fietsen op de straten van de stad naast het voertuigverkeer, met inbegrip van stukken met en zonder aangewezen fietspaden. Tijdens de zomer en in het weekend kan het verkeer zwaarder zijn, vooral langs de voorgevelweg tussen Shell Beach en Avila Beach. Ruiters moeten zich op hun gemak voelen bij het delen van de weg en het maken van bochten over het verkeer wanneer dat nodig is.

Our family had so much fun! We enjoyed the electric bikes and the tour guide guiding us through the route to tour the coast. They were very informative on how to use the bikes and made sure the bikes all fit us well. We would highly recommend this experience!
I booked a guided tour for the afternoon. However, that day it was supposed to rain in the afternoon, so they suggested I reschedule for another time. I decided to go earlier in the day, although unfortunately the guide couldn't make that time. Long story short I got a discount, and they showed me how to use the bike, etc. It was a great little trip, and while I think a guide would have been nice, it was still a lot of fun. I managed to get back just as the rain started to come in, so it all worked out in the end. The customer service was very friendly, and the bike route was very scenic and a lot of fun.
My wife and I did the 3 Beach e-bike tour with Pedego e-bikes. The entire experience was an 11 out of 10! Great staff, cool bikes, beautiful views! This was the first time on e-bikes for both of us and our tour guides had us riding like pros in no time! I would highly recommend this tour. Thanks Toby and Andy for a great Pismo Beach+ adventure!
We had so so so much fun! Toby and Andy were our tour guides and they are fantastic. We saw places we never have seen. Love the Secret Garden and you will too. We had never ridden electric bikes before and learned the benefits 😉 Still good exercise with all possibilities of places to go. I highly recommend this 'adventure'!

Perfect tour with awesome guide. My first time on an EBike. Took me about 20 min to feel totally comfortable. Rode all around and enjoyed lunch on pier in Avila. Was amazed by how much ground we could cover in a few hours. Say hi to Rowdy (the friendly shop dog)!

The trip ride wasn’t clearly advertised in the description. These bikes have a throttle that requires explanation, especially when stopping. I own an e-bike and haven’t had any issues with it. However, this bike and the route are not suitable for seniors or beginners. We spent half of the ride in heavy traffic near the pier. I had a hard fall due to the throttle at a stop, and my sister had three falls. Fortunately, someone on the ride was more helpful and provided us with additional information about the bike. The ride was extremely dangerous and stressful.

Following your tour, we’ve made several important updates to improve safety and set clearer expectations for future riders. Our tour description now emphasizes that this experience requires a moderate level of physical fitness and is not recommended for those with back issues, heart conditions, or other serious medical concerns. We've also added clear weight limits (250 lbs max) and detailed that participants must be comfortable riding a bike in traffic and managing the heavier weight and faster speed of an electric bike. In addition, we’ve tightened our rider screening process at check-in to help ensure that all guests are truly ready for the demands of the ride—especially those who are new to throttle-controlled e-bikes or riding in street traffic. We take your concerns seriously, and your input has helped us strengthen the experience for others. Thank you again for helping us improve.
Debacle. The trip is falsely advertised. Please warn folks that they need prior e bike experience and skills to handle such a heavy cumbersome bike and powerful throttle. The owners took me to a small busy and crowded parking lot to jump on the bike and twist the throttle without peddling the bike or practice balancing. I was jerked quickly forward and immediately lost control. I screamed as I felt myself about to crash and fall. The owners said many people can’t ride them. They refused to refund any of my $95.
I’m sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations. Safety is our top priority, so we always require that guests have basic bike-riding skills before joining our tour—and we do our best to make that clear in the listing. That said, we genuinely appreciate your feedback and will update our listing to be even more clear about the experience and comfort level required to safely operate an e-bike. We also provide a brief orientation on balancing, throttle control, and hand-brake use before setting off. Because we contract our guides at a guaranteed four-hour rate under California law, we’re unable to issue refunds once a guide is booked—even if riding turns out to be more challenging than anticipated. Our cancellation policy (no refunds within 24 hours) is also stated up front to cover those guide fees and bike prep. I understand this was frustrating, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
