Ga op een onvergetelijke reis door Volcanoes National Park, waar de ontzagwekkende kracht van de natuur zich bij elke bocht openbaart. Ga met me mee op een boeiende luswandeling van 4 mijl die door levendige Hawaïaanse inheemse bossen slingert en je rond een adembenemend verhard lavameer leidt. Terwijl we dit prachtige landschap doorkruisen, word je volledig ondergedompeld in de serene omgeving en betoverende bezienswaardigheden en geluiden van het unieke ecosysteem van het park. Tijdens de wandeling zal ik fascinerende inzichten delen in de rijke vulkanische geologie en geschiedenis van het gebied. Je krijgt de kans om te leren over de diverse inheemse fauna en flora die gedijen in deze opmerkelijke omgeving, waarbij niet alleen de schoonheid van eco-toerisme wordt benadrukt, maar ook het vitale belang van het behoud van onze natuurlijke wereld voor toekomstige generaties. Houd er rekening mee dat het bekijken van lava afhankelijk is van het activiteiten niveau van de Kilauea vulkaan.

We expected a small group and were then alone with Yvonne (German-speaking). She welcomed us warmly, answered all our questions professionally, and told many stories & explained geological facts & connections that were very exciting. Since the pressure in the volcano for the eruption decreased again shortly before our tour, she even wanted to inform us later in time via WhatsApp about the upcoming eruption. Unfortunately, the volcano took more time than we could stay. Nevertheless, it was an excellent tour. We were also perfectly informed organizationally. Many thanks to Yvonne & Jennifer
Our itinerary was altered due to the volcano eruptions, but Jennifer was very knowledgable and helpful that day.

We had a fabulous time on this hike! The views were spectacular, and walking on the volcano crater floor was a real highlight. The guide, Jennifer, shared a lot of information about the volcano, the plants and animals, and the Hawaiian legends, which really enhanced the trip. The small group size was also a real plus. Our tour guide Jennifer came prepared with hiking sticks, jackets and backpacks. It helped tremendously. She had a great wealth of knowledge about the flora found throughout the park. A ten out of 10!
Jennifer is a terrific guide and is very knowledgeable about the Volcano Park history and Hawaiian culture. She is a great communicator and loves guiding people. Mt. Kilauea had a small eruption a couple hours after our tour which was exciting.
Hiking down to the lava field through the steam vents afforded us amazing views of Kilauea and Jen was a wealth of information and we highly recommend her
