Dit is een privétour alleen voor jou (uw groep), voor de buiten de gebaande paden gelegen lokale ervaring in Guangzhou. Je ervaart de stad volledig vanuit het perspectief van een local, met het gezelschap van een deskundige Engelssprekende lokale gids en een privéauto met chauffeur om je rond te leiden in de verborgen pareltjes in Guangzhou en te genieten van de traditionele Kantonese dim sum voor de lunch. Tijdens deze tour gaan we geen grote toeristische attracties bezoeken, maar om de cultuur en het leven van de lokale bevolking in de stad te verkennen en te begrijpen. We bezoeken de voetgangersstraat (waar de lokale bevolking loopt en winkelt), de kruideniers- en groentemarkt, lokale buurtgebouwen, stedelijke dorpen en het oude deel van Guangzhou om te zien hoe de lokale bevolking hun tijd in het dagelijks leven doorbrengt. En optioneel kun je, als je wilt, een lokaal gezin bezoeken (een standaard woonappartement van gemiddelde klasse in een lokale gemeenschap) om te praten en te communiceren met de gastheren (het zijn Kantonese operaliefhebbers die in hun jeugd de 'culturele revolutie' hebben meegemaakt). ^_^.

We enjoyed this tour and It was great for both of our kids (5 and 7) as well as grandma (65+) who was traveling with us. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun to talk to. We particularly liked the local recommendations as we walked by different places (e.g. try the local bakery goods around the corner and indeed it was very good). Our kids could handle the markets and the walk was easy enough for grandma. The tour guide also worked great with us to find our interests. We wanted to buy tea and we were taken to a tea outlet mall, and the shop owner made tea for us to try the different kinds — first time we tried tea stuffed in a dried citrus fruit and it was delicious (we went there to buy a specific tea (pu er) mixed with glutinous rice. Unlike other Chinese tours, they don’t work for commission so there was no pressure to buy anything. We have no hesitation recommending this tour to anyone. Karen and KC 🇺🇸
