Deze rondleiding is geweldig voor diegenen die de kunst van Gustav Klimt volledig willen begrijpen door een bezoek te brengen aan de drie musea die zijn meest prominente werken tentoonstellen. We beginnen bij Paleis Belvedere. Hier zie je "De Kus" en "Judith", de beroemdste schilderijen uit de "Gouden Periode". "The Kiss" is een van de meest iconische toeristische bezienswaardigheden van de stad, en we beginnen onze tour hier om de context en oorsprong van de kunst van Klimt te begrijpen. Daarna gaan we naar de tentoonstellingshal van de Secession om het grootste werk van Klimt te zien, de "Beethoven-fries". Dit is het enige werk van deze kunstenaar dat de kijker bewust volledig omringt, wat betekent dat dit jouw kans is om één te worden met kunst. Onze derde stop is het Leopold Museum. Hier vinden we "Dood en leven". We zullen dit doek in detail onderzoeken om te begrijpen waarom het zo belangrijk was voor zijn artistieke carrière. We gaan ook de landschappen van Klimt bekijken om zijn volwassenheid te zien en onze rondleiding door zijn artistieke erfenis te voltooien.

- Kom stipt naar het ontmoetingspunt bij de hoofdingang van Paleis Belvedere. Je gids wacht op je aan de rechterkant van de hoofdingang van het Belvedere Paleis (ook wel het Bovenste Belvedere genoemd). Als je een adembenemend uitzicht over Wenen ziet, heb je het ontmoetingspunt gevonden. Als u het paleis wel ziet, maar niet het uitzicht op de stad, ga dan naar de ingang aan de andere kant van het gebouw. Volg gewoon het bord "Ingang museum". Gebruik de contactgegevens op uw bevestiging/voucher als u vragen heeft of problemen ondervindt bij het vinden van het ontmoetingspunt of uw gids.
- Uw gids heeft de toegangskaarten voor uw musea bij zich.
- Vanaf 30 maart 2027 vindt het eerste deel van deze tour plaats in de Lower Belvedere (Unteres Belvedere) vanwege renovatiewerkzaamheden aan de Upper Belvedere. Alle grote meesterwerken uit de collectie, waaronder Gustav Klimt’s *De Kus*, worden daarheen verplaatst voor de duur van de renovatie, dus u zult ze zeker zien tijdens onze tour.

Highly educated solid formed large historian. Julia is a pleasure to get a further understanding approve Gustav Klimt was and what factors influenced his work. Music and in particular Beethoven & Wagner. She is not a museum guide, thankfully. Rather choose an educator.

We had an unforgettable experience and learned a great deal about Klimt, thanks to the very enthusiasic and knowledgeable guide. We enjoyed every minute of it to say the least. Towards the end of the tour my wife felt quite ill suddenly. Our guide help us to get to a general hospital to get emergency care. We truly appreciate her help and the great intro she gave into Klimt himself and his work.

This was one of two tours we took with Julia. Both were excellent. My wife and I knew very little about Klimt other than "The Kiss" and "The Woman in Gold" and essentially nothing about his life or the scope of his work. This tour was great not only because we learned so much about Klimt and the evolution of his work, but we visited three outstanding venues all of which are interesting in their own right. Julia has a talent for explaining and illustrating how his art evolved pointing out the transitions as they occurred in his work. Incredibility fascinating and more importantly, fun and enjoyable. Julia is a pleasure to learn from, and we highly recommend her. My guess is every tour she has curated would be great based on the two experiences we had with her (our other tour was the must see masterpieces of the Museum of Art History (Kunsthistorisches Museum).
