Scheve torens, architectonische eigenaardigheden, oude wijken, lokale tradities en kermissen zijn moeilijk uit te drukken met woorden, meer als een droomplek dan als een stad waar sommigen zoals Vivaldi, Casanova, Marco Polo en Tintoretto woonden. Daarom hebben we deze ene reis vanuit Rome voor jou gemaakt, je kunt suggestieve uitzichten bewonderen en geweldige foto's maken. Bij aankomst maakt u een ontspannende wandeling door de pittoreske steegjes en grachten van Venetië om het prachtige San Marcoplein te bereiken en de adembenemende Basiliek van San Marco te bezoeken. Maak een tochtje met de veerboot over het beroemde "Gran Canal" en bewonder de prachtige architectuur en gebouwen die op het water lijken te drijven. Eindelijk kun je je dag afsluiten met Aperitivo Veneziano: spritz en crostino sneetjes geroosterd brood met verschillende toppings. We laten u achter om uw tour te boeken met dit beroemde citaat van Friedrich Nietzsche: 'Als ik een ander woord zoek voor 'muziek', vind ik nooit een ander woord dan 'Venetië'.

Graziella was great, very friendly and approachable. She was knowledgeable about Venice and shared interesting facts on the walk to Piazza San Marco. She also had an eye out for everyone in the group and made sure everyone was fine. I would give her 5 stars! On a separate note, it would be helpful to know the correct travel times beforehand. I checked via email and was informed that we would arrive in Venice at 11.05am. Since the tour doesn’t include a guided itinerary, I planned separate activities accordingly, with my first activity starting at 12.15pm. However, when we got our train tickets on the day the arrival time was 11.34am. As a result, I missed my first planned activity and was not refunded. This was very disappointing as it could have been avoided if the correct time was shared when requested. Did not have a negative experience but overall, thought the price was too steep as all that is provided are return train tickets to Rome, 1 water taxi ticket, an appetizer and drink and the travel leader just escorting us from the train station to Piazza San Marco.
