Griffin MSI is gevestigd in het enige overgebleven gebouw van de 1893 World's Fair en is een must-see in Chicago. Tijdens een bezoek aan het grootste wetenschapsmuseum op het westelijk halfrond ervaart u een tornado van 60 meter, klimt u aan boord van een Duitse onderzeeër uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog, rijdt u in een hamsterwiel op mensenmaat, daalt u af in een kolenmijn in Illinois, stapt u aan boord van een 727 die aan het plafond hangt en nog veel meer! Griffin MSI is geen plek waar je rustig rondloopt en observeert. Je raakt betrokken bij het plezier — en leert — door te doen. Slechts een paar mijl van het centrum met handige ondergrondse parkeergarage. Kinderen jonger dan drie jaar krijgen gratis toegang tot het Museum.

Amazing experience! So much to see and interacting activities. Very educational as well, Anne Frank was very telling. The submarine was cool to see. The blue paradox was amazing and my favorite! The vortex is cool to see. BASICALLY EVERYTHING IS COOL! That’s my highlight.
The Tazewell and Anne Frank exhibitions were phenomenal! Neither should be missed. I just wish that the Tazewell exhibit had been given a more prominent place in the museum.
As a science girly, this science is massive! So many interactive activities and fun things to do with adult friends or the kiddos.
We went to the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry specifically to see the Anne Frank exhibit. It was okay, but I wouldn’t say it was a must-see. I didn’t really learn anything new, and it was crowded enough that it could be difficult—and a little frustrating—to actually take your time with the exhibits. The guided portion of the tour was definitely the best part. One thing I didn’t love was having to purchase general admission to the museum in addition to the Anne Frank exhibit. We’re from the Chicago area and have been to Science and Industry many times, so we’ve already seen most of the museum and weren’t really interested in paying for general admission again. Overall, I’m glad we saw the exhibit, and the guided tour was worthwhile, but I thought the experience as a whole was just okay rather than great.
This museum was wonderful. We were lucky to see the Anne Frank exhibit. We definitely want to come back because there is so much more to see.
We loved every minute of our visit! Very clean & well organized museum, helpful staff and has something for everyone. Our only regret is not having enough time to enjoy all of the exhibits. Give yourself 3-4 hours
We loved this visually beautiful museum. The U505 exhibit is astounding. You need at least 5 hours to get through it. Pay close attention to hours of operation as they change with little notice.
Fantastic tour guides! We did the coal mine & u505 tours and both were great! Highly recommend!
The museum was huge. We went for the Spider-Man exhibit and saw lots of other things that were thought provoking as well.
We had an amazing time at the Griffin Museum! There is so much to see and do with just general admission that kids will stayed entertained all day. We also paid extra for the Spider-Man exhibit and it was definitely worth it. The spidermen store didn't really have much available though
