Our water taxi captain was friendly and informative. We loved the hike from the beach to forest to the glacier lake. Great day.
Self directed hike so essentially you are just paying for transportation to and from the hike. It is a very nice hike with some muddy spots and definitely downhill switchbacks to the end pick up beach.
It was such a cool hike! It was about 3.5 miles or so and most of it was super easy. Would totally do it again if we are back in Homer!
Highly recommend Coldwater Alaska! The captain and deck hand were great! The whole trip was wonderful!
Top notch outfit - very professional, on time, comfortable boats. Glad I choose them for our water taxi need. Yes, it is expensive but a competitive price. I would use them again.
The hike itself was great. The lake and glacier were absolutely beautiful and we had great weather. That being said, paying over $100 for a 15-30 minute water taxi across the bay and back is quite expensive. I'm not sure it's quite worth the price.

Zach and Jasper were amazing boat handlers. We did the hike to Grewingk Glacier and the lake it feeds. It was a magical day that included walking by 2 Bald Eagles and a lake with small icebergs!
Last minute booking. They couldn’t accommodate only 2 people, but they seamlessly connected us with another water taxi company (ABS). Both were amazing and reliable, with good local knowledge on other hikes.
