Onze bekroonde omgekeerde route tour vanuit Melbourne neemt je mee op een wild en prachtig avontuur langs de Great Ocean Road – achteruit! Dat betekent meer bezienswaardigheden, minder mensen, en een heel stuk leuker. We trappen de boel af door rechtstreeks het binnenland in te trekken naar de Twaalf Apostelen – adembenemende uitzichten en fris ochtendlicht perfect voor foto’s. Van daaruit verkennen we de prachtige Shipwreck Coast, waarbij we Loch Ard Gorge, The Razorback, Gibson Steps en natuurlijk de iconische apostelen bezoeken. Daarna schakelen we van versnelling en trekken de natuur in met een rustige regenwoudwandeling door eeuwenoude, torenhoge bomen. Op de terugweg varen we langs de kust langs charmante stadjes als Apollo Bay en Lorne. En ja – we garanderen wilde koala waarnemingen, plus een goede kans op het spotten van kangoeroes stuiteren door de bush. Dus als je op zoek bent naar een relaxt, wildlife-vol, foto-waardig avontuur dat de stress overslaat en het plezier verdubbelt - dit is de tour voor jou.

Een ochtendtheestop, omdat we 's ochtends landinwaarts reizen en rechtstreeks van Melbourne naar de 12 apostelen gaan, dit is slechts een pauze om wat koffie / ontbijt te kopen (op eigen kosten)
Reis 's ochtends het binnenland in en ga rechtstreeks naar de 12 apostelen. Ga er vroeg heen, versla de drukte van de middag en geniet van deze prachtige kalksteenformaties wanneer het nog steeds rustig en vredig is.
Ga naar beneden en loop over dit geweldige strand. Laat je overschaduwen door de 70 meter hoge verticale kliffen en bewonder Gog en Magog, de bijnamen die worden gegeven aan de gigantische kalksteenstapels die uit de zee oprijzen.
Dit is de meest indrukwekkende kalksteenformatie van de regio, de uitzichten zijn adembenemend!
Sta versteld van deze twee adembenemende attracties aan deze halte: - De Loch Ard Gorge - tragisch en ongelooflijk mooi verhaal van een van de beroemdste scheepswrakken in Australië. Wandel over het strand en voel je in het niet meeslepen door de prachtige kalkstenen en zandstenen rotsen - The Razorback - de meest indrukwekkende formatie van deze ruige kustlijn van het wrak
Rijd door dit geweldige Nationale Park, de thuisbasis van enkele van de hoogste bomen in Australië

Een wandeling van 20 minuten door het regenwoud, om getuige te zijn van enkele van de meest verbazingwekkende regenwoudlandschappen van Australië in het Great Otway National Park, waar u zich echt verbonden zult voelen met de natuur.
Stop voor de lunch in dit levendige en coole kustplaatsje aan Victoria's Surf Coast. De gids zal enkele restaurantopties aanbevelen, genieten van vers voedsel voordat u aan het tweede deel van de dag begint.
Probeer de koala's van schattige buideldieren te spotten en maak ook foto's van de oranjebruine papegaaien die hier rondhangen

Passagiers die opdagen met kinderen jonger dan 7 jaar worden zonder instapweigering geweigerd.

We chose Hit the Road tours because they offered a smaller vehicle and hotel pick up with the premium tour option. I was a little apprehensive about doing a tour due to a recently acquired disability. Our guide, Peter, was very patient and accommodating, he did everything he could to make sure I could see the sights, including arranging a wheelchair with the visitor's centre at The Twelve Apostles. The day started early with a stop at a fabulous little cafe at Winchelsea to grab a coffee and snack. We then headed towards The Twelve Apostles via the Loch Ard Gorge. During the trip, Peter gave some entertaining and informative commentary, without going overboard. He also took us to see wild kangaroos and koalas. A late lunch stop was made at Apollo Bay where Peter made a number of restaurant and cafe recommendations. Peter's driving was smooth and the schedule was busy, but not at all rushed We would happily do a another tour with Hit the Road tours in the future.

The tour was amazing, and our tour guide(Chris) made the entire experience memorable from start to finish. It was an amazing tour, we saw many beautiful beaches and places. We also saw many animals like kangaroos, koalas and different kinds of birds. Our tour guide was Glenn who a fantastic guide, he was very friendly and funny, he also toured us around while talking about very interesting facts and all. Overall, I think this tour was very good and I would totally come again! 10/10

We had a fantastic time on the Hit the Road tour! Chris was an excellent guide and a very skilled driver.
