Het grootste deel van uw reis brengt u door langs deze spectaculaire kustroute, met prachtige panorama's en een prachtig uitzicht op de oceaan. We bereiken de 12 Apostelen op tijd om te genieten van de zonsondergang boven de oceaan!
Bij het bereiken van de kust, neem een snelle pauze in de idyllische badplaats Anglesea. Strek uw benen langs de pittoreske Angelsea River voordat u uw reis voortzet langs de Great Ocean Road.
Stop voor een kans om een happy snap te maken en misschien een snel bezoek aan het strand te brengen bij de historische Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch.
Tijdens de zomermaanden is onze lunchstop (op eigen kosten) in de stad Lorne, een van de belangrijkste badplaatsen van de Great Ocean Road.
Houd er rekening mee dat we Kennett River niet bezoeken van 20 juli tot 20 september 2026 vanwege de tijdelijke sluiting. In deze periode bezoeken we een alternatieve locatie voor het spotten van koala’s. Het eucalyptusbos rondom Kennett River ligt naast het Great Otway National Park en is de thuisbasis van een kolonie inheemse koala's. Onze Gids zal u helpen bij het spotten van koala's. Houd er rekening mee dat het wilde dieren zijn en op geen enkele manier gestoord mogen worden. Tijdens de wintermaanden stoppen we hier voor onze lunchpauze (eigen kosten).
Verken tal van spectaculaire uitkijkposten aan de kust en kom alles te weten over de geschiedenis van het Loch Ard, dat hier in 1878 werd verwoest met het verlies van 52 levens. Bekijk rotsformaties waaronder de Razorback, de onlangs ingestorte Island Archway, de Dumpling Pots en Muttonbird Island.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Ophalen is alleen mogelijk via de lijst met hotels die bij het afrekenen wordt verstrekt. Je wordt opgehaald tussen 09.00 en 10.00 uur (niet-zomertijd, AEST) en 10.00-11.00 uur (zomertijd, AEDT), afhankelijk van welk hotel je hebt geselecteerd. Uw exacte vergadertijd wordt verstrekt nadat een boeking is geplaatst. Deze tour keert terug naar Melbourne tussen ongeveer 21.00 en 12.00 uur, afhankelijk van het seizoen.

An absolute 10 out of 10 experience. The tour was perfectly organized and incredibly smooth from start to finish. We lucked out with beautiful, partly clear skies, which made the views along the coast even more stunning. Seeing the Twelve Apostles under that gorgeous afternoon light was a true highlight, and descending into Loch Ard Gorge was absolutely breathtaking.Our guide, Jaimes, was incredibly kind and attentive. He even spoke Spanish with us individually to practice, which made us feel exceptionally welcome. It is a long journey, so you definitely need to be prepared for the length of the road trip to avoid any surprises, but it is completely worth it. I also highly appreciated that the itinerary gave us the freedom to choose our lunch and dinner stops from a great variety of local restaurants or supermarkets—very convenient and well thought out. We even managed to spot a wild koala up in the trees! Highly recommended!

We had the best time in the Great Ocean Road with our warmest guide, Jai, who’s the friendliest, kindest and the most hospitable. As someone new to Melbourne as a student, Jai made me a list of his favorite restaurants in Melbourne so that I could give them a try. We also learned so many anecdotes and knowledge along the way which made the day trip even enjoyable. Much recommended!

We travelled as a group of 6 people. Our Driver/Guide Mr. Robbo was very knowledgable guy. It was a wonderful tour with great views and stops to capture natural beauty. Only drawback was that it was expensive if you compare it with other available similar tours.

Firstly, I would thank the family who cancelled last minute (your loss.) We had an incredible day with our tour guide, Ben. We got an in depth tour of the Great Ocean Road and both agreed of all the tours we have been on it was the best by a mile. We were genuinely sad when it was over! Ben was friendly, engaging, and informative, giving us good recommendations for other places to see and visit whilst in Melbourne. Our whole experience from early morning pick up at our apartment till we got dropped off at the end of the day, was totally outstanding! Raquel looked after us, and kept us informed the whole day, and always wanted to go over and above for everyone, especially when we decided to go on the helicopter trip! Thank you so much Raquel!
Alisha was so awesome! She has great energy and made it a super engaging trip. We got lucky and got a beautiful sunset which was great. Need to do this if you want to see Great Ocean Road and happy we chose to do it at sunset. We only had 10 people in our tour which was really nice. Ended up being a ~12 hour journey. Saw a Koala on the trip as well! Bus WiFi was air conditioned and had functioning WiFi.
