De Great Ocean Road wordt jaarlijks door meer dan 3,5 miljoen bezoekers afgelegd. We hebben deze Reverse Great Ocean Road Tour ontworpen om de drukte op piekmomenten te vermijden en om onze gasten ook de ontzagwekkende 12 Apostelen te laten zien in het ochtendzonlicht dat deze ongelooflijke rotsformatie helder verlicht. Reis langs de hele Great Ocean Road en stop om door een oud regenwoud te wandelen, schilderachtige dorpjes aan zee te verkennen, wilde Koala's te ontmoeten en de vele ongelooflijke uitkijkpunten op de klif te zien.

Ontsnap aan de stad door via Colac rechtstreeks landinwaarts te reizen naar de Shipwreck Coast en onderweg te genieten van een gratis ochtendthee. De versnaperingen stoppen.
Maak een reis en ervaar de omgekeerde tour van de Great Ocean Road in de tegenovergestelde richting van de massa, waardoor je kunt ontsnappen aan de drukte en kunt genieten van deze beroemde en pittoreske kustlijn in al zijn glorie. Verken de promenade langs de kliffen in het Marine National Park, met een spectaculair vrij uitzicht op de kalkstenen rotsformaties die bekend staan als de 12 Apostelen.
Onze eerste grote stop zijn de adembenemende 12 apostelen en de buitengewone rotsformaties van Loch Ard Gorge in Port Campbell. Ontdek Mutton Bird Island en Razorback uitkijk, beide met een fantastisch uitzicht.
Geniet vervolgens van een begeleide wandeling door Maits Rest of Melba Gully, een oud regenwoud en bewonder enkele van 's werelds hoogste bomen in het Great Otway National Park
We vervolgen onze reis langs deze spectaculaire weg die op de Nationale Werelderfgoedlijst staat, slingerend tussen heuvels, ongerepte stranden, adembenemende uitzichten op de oceaan en dicht regenwoud. De Great Ocean Road staat bekend als een van de mooiste kustroutes ter wereld, waar u zonder alle drukte van kunt genieten. Onze lokale gidsen zullen proberen de iconische Australische koala te vinden, aangezien dit kustgebied dichtbevolkt is met deze harige wezens verborgen in de eucalyptusbossen.
We stoppen vervolgens bij de Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch, een van de meest gefotografeerde plekken langs deze ruige kustlijn. Dit monument is een eerbetoon aan de militair uit de Eerste Wereldoorlog die de 243 kilometer lange Great Ocean Road aanlegde en uiteindelijk in 1932 werd voltooid. Een geweldige locatie om een groepsfoto onder de boog te maken en te delen met vrienden op sociale media.
Vanaf hier leunen we achterover, ontspannen en genieten van de rit terug naar de dynamische en kosmopolitische stad Melbourne.

Very nice and impressive day! Seen a lot, such as different landscapes, wildlife etc. Also enough stops in between for lunch, break etc. Very nice that our guide Anthony (Antman) knew and could tell so much, that makes everything even more interesting. This was the Great Ocean Road reverse tour which starts off at 12 Apostles and wind our way back to Melbourne through Great Ocean Road. This method is great as there were less crowds at the major areas and had plenty of time to take in the sights before losing daylight. Our guide Anthony was great in providing us with information about the various stops and lookouts as well as at spotting Koalas and Kangaroos along the way. We also saw one Kookaburra. Overall a great trip and definitely worth visiting.

This approach was fantastic because there were fewer crowds at the major sites, allowing us ample time to enjoy the sights before losing daylight. Our guide, Anthony, was outstanding—providing insightful information about each stop and lookout, as well as helping us spot Koalas and Kangaroos along the way. We also had the opportunity to see a Kookaburra. Overall, it was a great trip and definitely worth experiencing.
