De tour duurt 2 uur en biedt gasten de mogelijkheid om op een leuke en zorgeloze manier het hele historische centrum en de hele oude wijk "Sassi" (Barisano en Caveoso) langs de belangrijkste straten, de belangrijkste wijken en historische kerken (in combinatie met de openingstijden). Onze gasten worden voorzien bij het vertrek van audiogidsen, die gebruikers zullen begeleiden om de oude stad te ontdekken. In dit verband specificeren wij dat de audiogidssteunen in het Italiaans en Engels zijn. in de tour, inbegrepen in het ticket, is er een bezoek aan een grotwoning, historische en karakteristieke woning uit die tijd en een gratis rondleiding door de kathedraal. Begeleide ingangen naar de kathedraal, grotkerken en andere betaalde plaatsen zijn uitgesloten tenzij directe aankoop van de gebruikers in de gewenste structuren. De groep zal voor alle technische behoeften van de voertuigen voortdurend worden ondersteund door een leider die aan het hoofd van de groep de juiste st aangeeft weg te gaan

Oud huis typisch ingericht met antiek meubilair en gebruiksvoorwerpen. Het bezoek zal ons volledig laten begrijpen hoe we leefden in de oude Sassi-districten voordat we werden verlaten.
Gratis bezoek aan de majestueuze kathedraal van Madonna della Bruna en Sant'Eustachio. Belangrijkste katholieke eredienst in Matera.
Bezoek van de Sasso Barisano met uitzicht op het panoramische punt genaamd Barisano. Het heeft meer gebouwde omgevingen dan opgegraven. Vanaf het panoramische punt kunt u de "kloof" van de Gravina-stroom bewonderen die de oude Sassi-districten scheidt van het Murgia-plateau.
Bezoek van de Sasso Caveoso. De huizen in dit deel graven bijna allemaal. Hier kunt u zien hoe de mens de natuur op een harmonieuze manier in zijn huizen heeft opgenomen.

This was really a lot of fun and very informative. Domenico is a really nice guy and he does everything to accommodate you even if you have some issues with pedaling the rickshaw. The audio guide is a little transmitter that functions on GPS so every time you stop in front of a location it automatically begins narrating information about that particular site. Most of the information is architectural with some historical data as well. All of the sites that we saw on this tour we had already seen on a tuck tour earlier in the morning but writing the rickshaw and peddling around town with Dominica was worth the fun itself! It's a great tour and it's a lot of fun and you really do get your bang for your buck on this one. I highly recommend this tour with this company.
The rickshaw ride is fun and well structured. You can visit all of Matera visiting all the main places of interest with audio guide but especially with Domenico who explains very well. The plus is precisely Domenico who puts passion and preparation and customer care. In short, tour straconsigliato!!!

We spent a wonderful afternoon in the company of Domenico! Thanks to his competence, availability and kindness we could enjoy even more of the beauties of Matera! It brought us to know every corner of the city, made us discover breathtaking views and panoramas and made it even more interesting thanks to stories and anecdotes that allowed us to appreciate its history near and far. It is engaging the enthusiasm that transmits in making this beautiful territory known and, what about... a ride in a rickshaw is super fun!!!!! Thank you again!!!!

A fun way to see Matera if you are going with children or people with reduced mobility. It gives you time to see everything. You have to be skilled with the steering wheel and brake, but it's worth it
We enjoyed our tour. The hills took some effort but we did it with our guide cheering us on. There is a lot to see and learn.
We traveled to Matera and planned our day around our scheduled tour with Grand Tour of the Stones . Three hours before our tour we received a notice that they canceled our tour and we could reschedule for April 3. Unfortunately we will be leaving the area. Our first tour was scheduled for April 1 and they canceled 3 weeks before and suggested we schedule for March 30.
Domi was fantastic. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Well worth the reasonable rates and a great way to see Matera in 2 hours. We would recommend this to everyone wanting a fun excursion.
We arrived at the appointed time to mind the meeting point shop closed. Email to operator and calls to Viator's calls to him revived no response. An hour or so later received communication from operator asking if we could be available to do the tour later in the afternoon. We answered in the affirmative; however, when we arrived we discovered the electronic tuk-tuk requires peddling. So wasn't going to work for my 92 year old aunt.
