Maak een privérondvaart door Venetië en verken de stad vanaf het water, zonder te hoeven concurreren met de drukte of lange afstanden te hoeven lopen. Leer meer over de stad vanuit je professionele gids terwijl je langs de prachtige grachten van Venetië reist met een watertaxi en gondel en stop om te verkennen wanneer en wanneer je maar wilt.

Je gids haalt je op bij je hotel of een andere locatie naar keuze in Venetië, en een privéwatertaxi zal zo dicht mogelijk bij je aanmeren. Verken hoogtepunten zoals de Frari-kapel, het San Polo-plein en het Dogenpaleis.
Terwijl je door de dromerige grachten van de stad en onder charmante bruggen zweeft tijdens een gondeltocht, zorg ervoor dat je je camera bij de hand hebt. Passeer de 15e-eeuwse San Rocco-school en -kerk en stop bij het San Polo-plein, waar de Venetianen vroeger stierengevechten organiseerden voor Carneval.
Ga vervolgens naar de levendige Rialto-markt waar de lokale bevolking naartoe gaat voor verse vis en producten, en bewonder de grote Rialtobrug terwijl je deze per boot nadert. Je hebt de mogelijkheid om een hapje of drankje te kopen op de markt, te snuffelen tussen de lokale lekkernijen en souvenirs te shoppen.
De laatste stop is bij Piazza San Marco. Je gids wijst je op de mozaïeken die de Basiliek van San Marco, de klokkentoren en de Campanile sieren.
Bewonder het uitzicht op het Dogenpaleis, dat meer dan 1000 jaar dienst deed als het bestuurscentrum van de regio. Je eindigt je tour met een ontspannende gondeltocht (indien deze optie werd geselecteerd). Houd er rekening mee dat de Gids u niet zal begeleiden tijdens dit deel van de ervaring. Zodra je gondelrit is voltooid, moet je zelfstandig terug naar je hotel of je volgende bestemming.

Annalisa was a wonderful guide and provided an in depth review of the history of Venice. The combination of the boat tour and Gondola experience is at the top of our experiences in Italy. I highly recommend asking for Annalisa for this tour. 10 out of 10!

If you are trying to experience Venice by water, this is a good tour. Our tour guide, Annalisa, was very knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed the limited time we had with her. There seemed to be some confusion on where/when the water taxi was showing up, but once it arrive the tour went well. The gondola ride, on the other hand, was quickly arranged by Annalisa at the gondola station, and it only lasted 20 minutes. The total time on the water was less than 1.5 hours, and at a cost of $950, it was an overly expensive experience. I also believe having the term “luxury” in the title is totally misleading, as there was really nothing luxury about it.

We had a wonderful day with Claudia! She managed to spend time with each of us (a group of 10) to be sure we had questions answered and were enjoying our experience. She managed a toddler and heavy rains with a smile. We learned so much and were able to explore the beautiful islands. The pickup from our hotel was wonderful and made our day so easy to navigat.
