Geniet van een vier uur durende rondleiding door San Francisco. Bij elke halte heb je de kans om uit de bus te stappen en de bezienswaardigheden te zien. Tour door de stad van de baai naar de Stille Oceaan, met fotostops op belangrijke locaties. Geniet van een prachtig uitzicht en bezoek beroemde attracties, waaronder de Golden Gate Bridge, Twin Peaks, Land's End en Paleis voor Schone Kunsten. De touringcar verlaat het hart van Union Square en rijdt naar de Golden Gate Bridge. Op weg naar de Golden Gate Bridge zien reizigers: Union Square: theaters, winkels, hotels
We banen ons een weg naar het noorden op Van Ness Avenue. Beroemd omdat het werd gebruikt als brandgang door het Amerikaanse leger tijdens de aardbeving en brand in 1906.
Twee welvarende buurten die jonge professionals aantrekken. Chique modeboetieks, pilatesstudio's, sapwinkels, schoonheidssalons. Veel uitstekende restaurants, variërend van Franse bistro's tot Amerikaanse fusiongerechten.
Ontworpen door Bernard Misschienck voor de Wereldtentoonstelling van 1915. Deze 40 meter hoge open rotonde verschijnt als een Grieks-Romeins geïnspireerde fictieve ruïne. Stap uit de bus en verken de structuur en de lagune.
Stop bij de Golden Gate Bridge om te genieten van een adembenemend panoramisch uitzicht op deze iconische bezienswaardigheid. Maak memorabele foto's van dit technische wonder en geniet van de frisse kustbries.
Voormalig militair fort van het Amerikaanse leger, park van 1500 hectare. Home naar; Baker Beach, wandelen, historische gebouwen huisvesten het Walt Disney Family Museum, eetgelegenheden, huizen en bedrijven zoals Lucasfilm, met zijn Yoda-fontein.
Mooie kuststop bij Ocean Beach met ruige kliffen, cipressenbossen en uitzicht op de Golden Gate Bridge, de Stille Oceaan, de ruïnes van Sutro Bath en het Cliff House.
Als we Golden Gate Park vanuit het westen binnenkomen, passeren we een van de twee Nederlandse windmolens. Tijdens de rit door het park wijst de chauffeur alle aandachtspunten aan; Bison Paddock, Japanese Tea Gardens, California Academy of Science, Conservatory of Flowers.
Reizigers zullen zien waar de hippiebeweging begon tijdens de Summer of Love. Ongewone winkels, unieke restaurants en live-entertainment.
Twee identieke toppen geven deze attractie zijn naam. Een van de hoogste toppen van de stad, je hebt een adembenemend 360 graden uitzicht over de hele stad
We dalen af richting Market Street en komen het Castro District binnen. Iedereen is welkom en veilig in deze LGBT-gemeenschap!
Deze belangrijke verkeersader in San Francisco. We rijden oostwaarts van Castro naar het Ferry Building en het financiële district van de binnenstad.
Onder de wolkenkrabbers die de skyline domineren (Transamerica Pyramid, Salesforce Tower), is er een schat aan technologiebedrijven en Fortune 500-bedrijven.
Als reizigers onder de "Drakenpoort" van Chinatown doorgaan, komen reizigers in een bruisend handelsdistrict vol kleur.
Knipper niet met uw ogen, de overgang van Chinatown naar North Beach is naadloos. Deze snelle overgang brengt ons de bezienswaardigheden en geuren van "Little Italy" in San Francisco.
Eerste afleverlocatie Aan de noordelijke waterkant zijn de steden de meest bezochte en drukste toeristische gebieden. Souvenirwinkels, kraampjes met krab en clam chowder in zuurdesembroodschalen, verschijnen overal.

The bus does not pick up at the address that is listed. We stood there 20 minutes before pick up time and the bus never indicated that it was down the street. We were Never told what type of bus would pick us up. The bus driver never tried to see if we were there even though they knew to expect us, since we paid way over $100 for the trip. This appears to be a money grab. We called the office and a very rude rep told us it was our fault.
The tour was curtailed and modified due to the Marathon. Cutting out a proper visit to Golden gate bridge and park and some other points was a big disappointment. If we were informed of this at the time of booking, we would have chosen a different date to get the full experience. We felt cheated because neither Viator or the tour operator informed us of the restrictions and changes at the time of booking. There was also a change in the pickup spot and we paid for the Uber to get to the new spot in time. Overall this was the worst Viator experience of our many Viator purchases over the years, at least 4 of which were SFO city tours. Giving 3 stars as the other points were still ok. This had experience was entirely preventable if Viator and the tour operator were diligent and better customer oriented.

An excellent day tour experience with Gray Line. The service was professional and very well organized from start to finish. The tour is good but a bit disorganised. Meeting point there were 2 buses and we did not know which one was ours. San Francisco weather is very foggy and clouded in the mornings until midday, so many of the places we went we were not able to see a lot. I would have loved to see more of the beautiful houses and less of the hills outside. The guide was good but a bit repetitive. I would have started with a bit of history about San Francisco. The minibus was not the perfect one for sightseeing, as it was difficult to see many things the guide pointed out to.

Michele was a great tour guide and was very knowledgeable about the city’s history. Tour is pretty much as advertised and we had sufficient time at each stop for pictures and bathroom breaks. Great value for the price and worthy of a fair tip at the end.

This was a great tour. Saw things I missed on the Red Bus Tour. Comfortable bus, most stops had bathrooms. Guide was very knowledgeable. Golden Gate Park and North Beach were very enjoyable as was the entire tour.
