Vancouver wordt gewoonlijk de parel aan de kust genoemd met de juiste mix van culturen, moderne stadsplanning en een overvloed aan natuurlijke kenmerken en gezonde recreatie. Tijdens deze 5-uurs Grand City Tour zal uw gids de geschiedenis en het unieke karakter van Vancouver bespreken. Bezoek downtown Vancouver, waaronder Stanley Park, Gastown, Yaletown, Chinatown en de openbare markt van Granville Island. Ervaar die speciale sfeer die deze stad tot een van de meest kosmopolitische plekken ter wereld maakt.

Nadat je om 10.00 uur bent opgehaald bij je hotel in het centrum, rijd je door Vancouver en westwaarts richting Stanley Park, het grootste stadspark in Noord-Amerika. Bezoek het totempark waar je gids de gravures en culturele aantekeningen in het park zal uitleggen. Er zijn natuurlijke wonderen, van 1000 jaar oude bomen tot de grote geschiedenis van het gebied. We gaan via het westelijke uiteinde naar Shaughnessy voor het bezichtigen van het grote huis en komen aan op de openbare markt van Granville Island voor de lunch. Na onze tour op het eiland gaan we naar The Olympic Village en Yaletown voor een mix van modern en oud voordat je naar het fantastische Chinatown gaat. Ga vervolgens naar Gastown, waar je gids het verhaal van Gassy Jack zal uitleggen en hoe Vancouver de belangrijkste handelshaven werd die het nu is. Als de tijd het toelaat, hebben we ook een optie om het ijspaleis Le Casa met 238 smaken te bezoeken, dan terug naar je hotel en onderweg zal je gids een paar goede restaurants en andere activiteiten noemen om je dag compleet te maken.

Ik haal niet op in Richmond of rijd naar Richmond na de tour, dat maakt geen deel uit van het pakket, ik haal op bij elk hotel in het centrum van Vancouver, of Burnaby en zal na de tour in hetzelfde hotel afzetten. residentiële pick-up is beschikbaar, bel het tourbedrijf om de ophaaltijden af te stemmen. We got an amazing view of the highlights of the City with Mike ! His vast knowledge of the city and extensive overview of the major attractions were just what we needed as newcomers.The tour started with a thorough begiining visit to Stanley Park including the important history and beauty which highlighted what i believe is the jewel of Vancouver, B.C. Further, his insight into the architecture, restuarants, and key "off the beaten path" points of interest made for a memorable day! I highly recommend this for those new to the city. Mark G
We have just returned from a great Vancouver city tour. We were driven and guided today by Michael the company owner on a small group tour which fortunately for us was just us two. (maximum would have been 7). He arrived exactly on time to meet us at the hotel, and drove us around to all the interesting local sites. His knowledge was amazing and explanations very interesting. We stopped whenever necessary so that we could get out and view the sites and we saw so many areas which a larger group tour would not have been able to visit. This was a very in-depth, highly informative tour of Vancouver, with an amazing, knowledgeable guide. He picked us up at our hotel, spent virtually the whole day with us, which included a great lunch stop and a treat at a local ice cream shop with 238 flavors! Then dropped us off right back at our hotel. Time well spent and totally worth it. A++++

My wife and I had a very informative and pleasant introduction to Vancouver with Michael. He was knowledgeable and clearly very proud of his city. Today we went on an extensive bus tour of Vancouver. Our guide was Michael, who was extremely knowledgeable and very humorous. The tour was fascinating, taking in Stanley Park and Granville Island (where we had an excellent lunch). If you want to see as much of Vancouver as you can in one day, I would thoroughly recommend this tour.
