Dorpen, uitkijkpunten en vulkanische rotsen vormen de grillige ruggengraat van Gran Canaria. Deze tour baant zich een weg door enkele van de meest dramatische landschappen van het eiland en stopt onderweg om pareltjes als Teror, Tejeda en Fataga te bezoeken. En Teror is waar je avontuur begint. Een wandeling langs de herenhuizen met balkons van Calle Real de la Plaza richting de door bergen omgeven basiliek van Onze Lieve Vrouw van de Pijnboom is een van de bepalende ervaringen op Gran Canaria. Een schilderachtige bergrit verderop ligt Tejeda, dat op zichzelf al een bezienswaardigheid is: witgekalkte huizen met rode daken, verspreid over de helling van een vallei. Er is ook een pitstop bij het uitkijkpunt Las Tirajanas om een enorme vulkanische caldera te bewonderen, terwijl we op weg zijn naar Fataga om te eten. Een lunch gemaakt van lokaal geproduceerde ingrediënten wordt geserveerd in een door een familie beheerd restaurant. Na een kleine wandeling door de stad bezoeken we een nabijgelegen aloë vera-plantage om meer te weten te komen over de geneeskrachtige eigenschappen ervan.

Daarna gaan we verder naar de Mirador de las Tirajanas en hebben een fotostop. Op de weg van Tejeda naar Fataga zijn ook Roque Nublo- en Roque Bentaiga-weergaven beschikbaar.
We gaan naar Fataga om te eten. Een lunch gemaakt van lokaal geproduceerde ingrediënten wordt geserveerd in een door een familie beheerd restaurant.
Na een kleine wandeling door de stad bezoeken we een nabijgelegen aloë vera-plantage om meer te weten te komen over de geneeskrachtige eigenschappen ervan. Generaties eilandbewoners hebben extracten van de plant gebruikt voor huidverbranding.

Uw exacte ophaaltijd en plaats zijn afhankelijk van het hotel waar u verblijft. Houd er rekening mee dat we alleen pick-up bieden van specifieke hotels in het zuidelijke deel van het eiland (Meloneras, San Augustin, Puerto Rico). Na bevestiging van de boeking nemen wij contact met u op om u te informeren over de exacte ophaaltijd en plaats. Als u niet van ons hebt gehoord ten minste 48 uur voor de starttijd van de activiteit, neem dan contact met ons op.

- Ons kantoor is geopend van maandag t/m vrijdag van 9.00 - 17.15 uur, zaterdag en zondag gesloten.
- De tijden zijn bij benadering en afhankelijk van de groepsgrootte. De stops kunnen worden gewijzigd als gevolg van situaties buiten onze controle.
- Het restaurant heeft binnen trappen, niet goed voor mensen met mobiliteitsproblemen.

Yesterday we went on a fantastic all day tour. We were directly picked up outside of our hotel and taken to Teror which was a really picturesque village with a beautiful church and Sunday Market. We continued our journey upwards in the mountains to Tejeda which was also very lovely. The views in the mountains were absolutely incredible. We also got the opportunity to visit an Aloe Vera Plantation and also had lunch in Fataga.There were also some fabulous photo stops. I have to say that our Tour Guide Alan was absolutely brilliant! He welcomed us, gave valuable key information and told the best stories! He was such a joy to spend the day with, kind, positive and an extremely safe and careful driver. He was outstanding and went above and beyond. We met lovely people and had the best day creating beautiful memories. I would highly recommend this tour.
Today we were picked up directly outside our hotel to go on a day tour. We first visited Teror which was a beautiful picturesque village with a lovely market and church. Next we went further up the mountains to visit another lovely village called Tejada. We had a lovely 3 course lunch in Farage and also got to visit an Aloe Vera plantation.There were also some wonderful photo stops throughout our journey where the views were stunning. Our tour guide Alan was absolutely outstanding! He was so positive, knowledgable and kind. He told us some great stories about the sights and gave us lots of key information. He was a joy to spend the day with and we are so grateful. We met lovely people and enjoyed creating wonderful memories. I would definitely recommend this day tour.
I booked this trip through my Tui rep and did not pay £73! This is a long day and very tiring, but worth it if you want to see true Canarian life away from the tourist resorts. Our driver Edmundo was excellent (it was a mini bus with 16 people all English speaking). Our guide Steve (Swedish with excellent English) had extensive knowledge of the island and provided us with information every step of the way, as well as an abundance of good humour. He’s a great guide and my thanks to him for such an interesting day. The only let down was lunch. We were served in an old marquee downstairs from the restaurant. It was unfortunately raining and cool. The food was tasteless and lukewarm by the time we got it. I think a new venue should be considered. I was very hungry when I arrived back at the hotel. That said, this trip was good value but do be prepared for weather changes as you cross the island.
Would have been better if you had more time in teror which is a little gem but didn't have time to look around and tejeda did manage to get a fantastic coffee(€3 for 2) in the cafe near the petrol station . The scenery is breathtaking but you just drive by. The aleo Vera stop is just hard sell of overpriced products. Leave this out and more time in villages.The lunch is OK but we were told that we would have soup,this is served in a small soup bowl 1 between 4 people, there's no bowls and you have to spoon it onto a plate!
Very poor service, we agreed a pick up at a different hotel because the operator couldn’t pick us up at our hotel, we waited for 40 minutes and there was no show. We contacted the booking platform and they also couldn’t reach the operator. Our full day was wasted and we could’ve took a different Tour. I do not recommend this operator.
They didn’t pick up so we didn’t go on the tour which is very poor. I wouldn’t recommend this operator.
Picked up late, 8 to 12 people was said, there were 50! 1 van, now there were 3 vans! 1 guide on the 1st bus, bad business
Fantastic tour of some beautiful villages of the island. Stevie our tour guide who was Swedish was absolutely full of Information of the island. Not only was he knowledgeable he was funny too. Couldn't of asked for a better guide. The places we stopped were beautiful and we were given plenty of time to roam and rake photos. The church that was blessed by the pope was stunning. The rides thru the mountains were breathtaking and some hair raising bends lol but the driver was Fantastic. Well worth spending the extra time and money on this trip versus the island tour excursion
Superb tour thanks to Alan who gave us so much information from start to finish. Local knowledge of Gran Canaria over the years. Beautiful villages, lovely lunch and the Aloe Vera stop was a bonus. No hard sell just lots of interesting information. Overall can highly recommend this tour. 5*****
A great way to see a number of locations on a full day tour. Some of the highlights included; the stop in Teror which was on a Sunday and market day so lots of vendors setup around the town square, huge Canarian style lunch in Fataga, and stunning views from the Mirador Astronomica. We did have to skip the stop in Tejeda due to the Almond festival and limited vehicle access but still a worthwhile day.
